i recently had a conversation with a jw friend about the thing at the service meeting this week about blood.
i explained i don't understand how they can even be offering these fractions as a choice because of the stored blood situation.
here is a comment i got:.
Dont argue the rights and wrongs of their teaching, only it's inconsistency and it's lack of logic.
Ask:
Is it a "matter of conscience" to give blood? NO
Is it a "matter of conscience" to store your own blood for transfusion? NO
Is it a "matter of conscience" to give blood for the removal of fractions? NO
Is it a "matter of conscience" to accept blood fractions obtained by the above methods? YES
for those who are christians,.
as a witness i never prayed to jesus and would have felt icky and evil had i done so.. .
as a christian who is no longer a jw i still haven't prayed to jesus.
I can see where you are both coming from.
If you feel happier talking to Jesus than praying to Jesus then do that.
In Christian circles this next statement is a bit of a cliche, but it's been said that Christianity is not a religion, it's a relationship.
And I've never known a relationship that didn't involve talking.

My point is that a "Peak Publisher" figure is not the same as "The maximum number of individual publishers in a Month"
It is "the maximum number of report slips turned in in one month"

Peak publisher figures are a nonsense anyway.
Only average publisher figures are of any use statistically.
If a publisher forgets to put a report in one month ( and loads do) they are counted as two people when they submit two reports the following month.
So peak publisher figures are worth diddly squat.
They definitely do not show the "peak" number of individual publishers.
after my last negative post, i am so happy to have my immediate family involved and we all love each other.. no presents needed just the love and togetherness.

also i decided not to use the computer so much anymore because of rsi related problems.
