  i had no idea there were so many ex jw's.

  i have been out since 1998. officially booted in feb. 2001. i am not sure on what grounds though because i never went to my meeting.

  all i heard is that accusations had been made.

  i'll start .

  cranberry butter tart squares.

  this recipe is from "chatelaine" magazine a couple of years ago.12 cup brown sugar 12 cup butter at room temperature 1 12 cups all-purpose flour 4 eggs 2 tsp vanilla generous pinch of salt 2/3 cup granulated sugar 12 cup flour 2/3 cup corn syrup 1 12 cups golden raisins 12 cup coarsely chopped fresh cranberries (slightly thawed frozen ones before chopping).

  hey, i'm new here and have alot of questions i would appreciate being answered.. .

  1. does god have anything against jw's playing guitar?.

  2. i f i have a family member of friend that i care dearly for but they don't believe in jehovah god then surely i won't see them again after armageddon day.

  Depends if you're any good at it. If you're bad at it then the friends and family are the ones you should be worried about upsetting.

  it may never happen, i believe the best that can be hoped for is to pull some people out of it.

  no matter what is found out, no matter how big the screw up or lawsuit or lie that is uncovered, there will always be some who believe.

  selling hope is a big business, and some people want hope way more than they want truth.. the blood expose', however, is great in that it gets more information out there to a large audience, which will eventually cause the wts to go into damage control mode, changing policies again.

  i can't believe the new levels of cruelty possible within families who are jws.. a friend on this board who i've known since i was a baby practically has managed to get me a picture of my little sister who i haven't seen for 8 years - the one who i've mentioned my dad said was working on the bethel quick build team.

  Go to the park, shovel up a load of dog crap into a beautiful gift box and send it with a note saying "just to let you know how I'm feeling"
