  after being cornered and tired of the games, i suggested kevin elder meet me and i would give him my letter of da.

  he doesn't know it has been posted on this forum and on jwfacts site for a week or better, and that i sent many copies of it out to former friends last friday.

  Hi Jeff.

  Not really familiar with your story but I hope it works out well.

  Interesting comment about needing the closure but not realising that you did.

  I think lots of us who are not DA'd or DF'd but rather have faded or have been labelled "DA'd by our actions" have wondered whether we should seek full closure.

  How did you feel, when you missed your 1st Memorial?

  i remember going to each memorial even when i was inactive.

  i felt that i had to go to atleast that meeting.. then one year, i was sick on that day, and didn't go to the memorial.

  it was a funny feeling to miss the most important day of the year, as a jw would call it.. but i got used to it, when i missed my 2nd and 3rd memorial..
