What do you think of Benny Hinn,Joyce Meyer, and Joel Osteen Ministries?
by RULES & REGULATIONS inthe whole objective of the wts is to print as many books and magazines and sell them house to house with free labor from its members.. looking at these other ministries, they too print as many books as possible and sell them to it's members and viewing audience.the donations they take in are in the millions.
some of these ministers are payed a huge salary and live in massive homes which have been shown on television.. my questions are: don't all religions use their members for gains in the name of god?
don't all religions own massive properties, schools, and personal properties all in the name of god?

LT is right.
You've mentioned about half a dozen TV evangelists, just over half of whom are a bit wacky.
But I'll be at a Churches Together meeting in Halifax (very small town - approx 90000) with 30+ ministers, none of whom fit your stereotype and none of whom have a jet or earn £350k

My guess is, he and this lady got together, doing the physical deed of love .... and she got pregnant .
That, or my first guess: he captured the mermaid.
Maybe he got the mermaid pregnant?

A question for readers I always wanted to ask.
by vomit inespecially for british congs.
since it is idolatrous to support a football team.
be crazy into football, wearing a football strip with flags etc.

I don't think that they believe it is idolatrous to support a football team or wear the colours etc especially not in the UK
We don't have a cheerleading culture here or a parade/pageant culture either. And although the National Anthem may be played at major finals or international games football isn't associated with patriotism at all.
We use to play "friendly" 6-a-side football every week and we all used to turn up to play in whichever teams shirt we happened to support. Everyone did it - elders included. No-one cared.
I know that this is definitely UK wide. Of course there would be individuals who held an opinion but they actually just didn't like football. The WT may have posed the question "Is this idolatry?" In reality no-one thought it was!

Do you think Jesus gave every Christian a personal commission to preach?
by under_believer in"go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things i have commanded you.
i am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.
" (matthew 28:19, 20 | nwt) .

I agree with you.
It's in the definition of the word "preach". The "Great Commission" of Matt 28 said "go and make disciples" Matt 24:14 said "the good news would be preached"
Later on when discussing spiritual gifts in 1 Cor. Paul said "some as teachers, some as. . " suggesting that as you say not all were gifted as evangelisers, preachers or public speakers but everyone had a gift to use.
St Francis of Assisi (sp?) is reputed to have said "preach the gospel wherever you go. If necessary use words"

Mad isn't it
My daughter was a rainbow and now a brownie. It's wholesome and "normal" and I'm glad she's part of the pack!
