Tell him you want to go to the meeting with him. Insist on walking in hand in hand, and tell everyone you speak to that the last six months have been the best you’ve ever had and that when he stays over at yours you feel so loved and safe. Tell them all that you’re a Christian and that you can’t wait to take him to your church and introduce him to your friends.

Northenden Assembley Hall Of JWs (Manchester, UK) - A Little History
by pale.emperor inthis is the circuit assembly hall i attended since childhood.
if you're a jw and you grew up in liverpool, lancashire or manchester then this is the hall you attended.
when i was little i remember the decor inside being red and cream coloured.

Drove past it less than 2 weeks ago. Had to go to Didsbury from Halifax to pick up a rather nice guitar I had bought, and was blindly following my sat nav on the way back because I wanted to call in at the Trafford Centre to do some shopping. Next thing I know I’m passing a big sign saying Northenden and everything thing seemed so familiar. I also thought the building looked fantastic. They certainly know how to protect their investments.

An Active JW Sister Modelling For Me
by pale.emperor insince leaving the borg i jumped both feet first into classes i've always wanted to do but was never "allowed" to.
two of which are life drawing and photography.
i've been studying for almost two years now and have seen more nude men and women in our classes than i care to remember.. today in the photography studio i was working in with three others (two women, one man) we were told we had a new person modelling for us.

1st month of fading
by Jrjw ini'm nearly at the end of my first month of becoming inactive.
only my daughter knows.
i've had a cold half of the month so no questions or pressure has been put on me yet.

Is your daughter that knows a JW?
If you're moving, don't give your correct address. Boom. Gone.
Ah I just saw your post on page 2 about being separated from your husband. So he could give your address.

Hello Again
by everbrighterhal ini'm sorry if this is in the wrong category!
i am formerly adimmedlight, or something close to that.
i have been lurking here a few years now and while i did make an account before, i used a fake email (i no longer remember it, since it was made only to log in the one time i posted.. )because i was so paranoid people in my home town would discover me and "out" me.

The Trinity Easily Explained in 29 Words
by maccauk ina man can be a father .
a man can be a son.
a man can be a husband.

It's been discussed many, many times here. Whether you believe/accept the Trinity is of no real relevance, but what is important is understanding the principle mechanics of the doctrine. A quick Google will reveal that 'The Trinity' never says that the Father and Son (and Holy Spirit) are the same person. Never.

Grocery Store conversation with an elder
by problemaddict 2 ini'm inactive here to the local jw's as i have faded.
i've been slandered and all that, shunned by some but not all, but the elders basically leave me alone.
i still run into to people all over though.

Hi from England
by victimofdeceit inrecently quit being a jw because i realised that beyond armageddon i was going to be ruled by people who cover up child abuse, not telling the congregations by their letter where the money they donated in the box is going towards paying compensation for legal battles which they caused, and also i was bullied by elders and discriminated against for being homosexual, even though i am not practicing it.
it wasn't until i threatened legal action for a breach of confidence that the elders were deleted.
so through the media and my own personal experience, i realised that they were no different to corrupt businesses in the world.
