by the way, happy new year to all.. so, i'm wondering, if all the current global population converted to jwism what would happen to the approximately 300,000 births and 150,000 daily deaths?.

and, where are the 'false gods' today and where is yahweh nowadays?.

just my mind wanderings.. oh, and if the governing body has the global solution, why aren't they preaching to world leaders directly?

there are a few active jws i know (separate, in different areas) who basically celebrate new years, having a party to watch the ball drop, posting about it on social media, one even saying literally "happy new year" .

but most other jws seem to not want to point out the elephant in the room.

has anybody else seen this, or ever seen it turn judicial?

Library now cleared out

well, it looks like the axe has finally fallen on our kh library.

during a deep clean of the local kh, a brother suddenly informed everyone 'whikst cleaning' that all the old books including bound volumes of the watchtower etc was to be chucked in the skip.. from what i heard, some were taken aback by this and quite annoyed that no announcement was made; that no one was given the choice of taking some of these books home to keep.

i mean the entire collection of studies in the scriptures and others that go back an entire century.

In 50 years most here will be gone, and so goes access to these dying books that tell the truth about the org. Someway need to get this information into the cloud to out survive us and our overlapping generation.

Its a one way street with the "organization", like if you call the service department they will ask your name and your congregation, but if you ask the brother for his name, he says "I can't tell you that"

so once pimo how do you deal with going to the meetings, ministry, social getotgethers, conventions assemblies?.

for one you know it is all off key,.

two your 2 hours or more so just wasted (not counting the time getting ready,travelling etc).

One small thing Ive noticed that has been changed is their music is getting a pentecostal makeover, making some of the uber JWs sway and pretend to be directing a choir. Also, when they announce to stand up (if you are able) they have a definite pause before giving out the number, seeing if you are obedient to just stand there for a few seconds, not like before when they announced the song # and then said stand (if you are able). Just a small cult control maneuver .

Armageddon has started in Astoria, Queens

now we know that the con ed plant in astoria, queens had an explosion, but before anyone knew what the heck was going on, so many people were posting on social media their pictures of the "strange blue circle light" that was in the sky this evening,usually st. johns which is near me has a fireworks display after a game, i thought this doesn't look like fireworks, much brighter and no sound, it actually looked like it was 4pm in the afternoon right before the sun leaves the sky.. i live in the jamaica section of queens (just up from trump's foot dr. if you saw that article in nytimes.

com the other day) and haven't lost power but laguardia is dark now, no flights in are out.

just wondering how the old school dubs that saw the lights outside window, thought "finally, the big a is here" !.
