  Who Really Are True Christians?

  well, since the wtbts "litter-ature" has informed people almost 4000 times about "true christian/s", then it would appear that they must be the assigned experts to judge any hypocritical "wolves in sheep's clothing".. thank goodness the bible confirms that the fds has been given the privilege to say who is or isn't a christian!.

  2 corinthians 5:10 says (probably in the new version of the nwt) "for we must all be made manifest before the judgment seat of the governing body, that each one may get his award for the things done through the body, according to the things he has practiced, whether it is good or vile.".

  or in simple terms, it's like saying to christ, "don't worry yourself, we'll do the judging for you!!"..

  Help me plan a birthday party for a 'sort of' JW

  a relative and friend of mine is turning the monumental "60" in 3 weeks.

  he has "studied" with the jws since childhood, but never became a baptised member.

  something is holding him back .

  Like the ones JW do, out of guilt, for their kids

  - do it another day, not the specific day of his bday

  - cake, no candles

  -no singing happy bday

  -gifts are fine, giftcards better

  -invitations saying: a party at this person's house.... (not mentioning the bday)

  or just plainly thow his bday party and screw the jw thing

  I just think this guy was a scumbag, witness or not. In fairness to the jw, I have met really good and sincere people in many congregations, but I've also met filthy animals, which aren't the "fornicators, etc.." that get disfellowshipped and shunned; I've met manipulators, liars and people living double lifes, people that you can just see aren't good, but that's just the minority, at least in my experience.

  So What Would You Do If You Won $550,000,000?

  ok, so the mega millions jackpot is at half a billion dollars.

  if you won and decided to take it in a lump sum, you automatically lose 40%, then there's state and federal taxes, so you'd actually get a 'meazly' $240,000,000.. what would you do if you won that kind of money?

  I would go back to my country and drive a red ferrari right by the KH entrance. I'd see the mother of a guy i used to date (she insisted in her son and I to breake up; she had the guts to call me and tell me that, even though i was a nice girl, I would never achieve anything in my life and I would be an impediment in his son's success) well, i would tell this woman:

  Memorial

  the memorial is back and i know i am going to be harassed into taking my father in law to it.

  i refused last year and i have every intention of not going this year too.

  it is just so frustrating to me that he has a pioneer for a supposed wife who can take all the other sisters to doctor appointments and shopping and gets high praise for this by the congregation even as she neglects her sick husband.

  I was hit on several times... the most undesirable one, i was 16 and in the "i want to marry" stage (i wanted sex, but that's the decent way to express it) anyway, a "brother" who was old enough to be my father told me he knew a nice guy, well established (understand $$) and available, which is a rare find within the witnesses. he told me to go to a park far away from my house, and then he told me, after waiting close to an hour for "the guy" that he was in love with me and all he wanted was a kiss. i told him he was too old for me, married, with two kids and one on the way. I never said anything since his wife was my friend and she was 9 mo preggo. real piece of junk this guy. i should had said something, his daughter was around my age. you believe that?????
