so i remember a scripture, (i forget which one exactly) that is quite specific in that if a child has 2 unbelieving parents then god is going to kill that child.. but if a child has one believing parent then that child will be saved at armageddon.. how is this fair?.
i always even as a small boy found this to be utterly disgusting and not indicative of a loving fatherly creator.. not to mention some people would say that some would get a kind of 'benefit of the doubt' such as the mentally handicapped as they could not be expected to gain an accurate knowledge of truth.. and also the unrighteous who die now will be resurrected later.. so, if your a bad person but die your home free.. but if your an innocent child and your folks are too busy to go to the meeting, your worm chow..

I asked my mum about this,
If there was no such thing as transfusions when the bible was written, how do we know for sure it doesn't just mean eating blood is forbidden.
And if blood cries out to Jehovah when its spilled then why would me borrowing some blood to keep me alive be worse than my own blood being spilled in death?
All she came up with was that blood needs to return to the ground, (she didn't see that I'd only be borrowing it and when I died I'd give god his blood back) and then all the stock bullshit answers about how we don't need blood because there is so many alternatives that are way better all thanks to Jehovah's witnesses!
She could not or more likely would not see my logic.

my mother is the top queen when it comes to guilt trips.
she recently mentioned to me,seemingly casually,"now,your brother has a talk this sunday.
it would be so nice if you went with me to hear it.

One of her best one she likes to say to me is, how she's grieving for me like I've died!
Cos it's like a death she has to come to terms with and I will die at Armageddon next Friday probably!
She says all this while looking at me with a look like I've ruined her life and everything is now completely pointless!
