  Ex-brother-in-law Elder comes by to visit after 12-15 years.

  he had just return from.

  cross country trip, he visited my daughter and her family in the mid west.. he came by to tell me, her last words with tears in her eyes, tell dad i love.

  Have you ever had a hallucination? What was it like?

  i have almost never had a visual hallucination and i was wondering what they're like.

  how "real" do they seem?

  is there any kind of a hint you get that tells you they are not real?

  My ex came over after his Sunday meeting. He said that there is something I want to tell you, and you are the only one I can trust.

  Some lady after the meetings came up to me and said,"Are we both going to be in paradise naked." We were in a seperate area of the house, so I asked my sister to come in to see it he would tell her. He said nothing! I told her the coversation and she tried to reason with him. He just said,"how would you know she didn't say it?" Apparently we were not there.

  I learned you can not try to reason with crazy! I said no one would say that and he needed help.

  I reminded him of the three 3 foot see through aliens and the voices from the tv antenna,angels in the clouds.

  He will not go get help but believes they are all real.

  Looking back I realized that he never really heard anything I said. And made up garbage. One time, I had to ask his brother why he said certain things. His brother was insulted and wanted his brother,my husband, to set me straight. Like a coward he said I miss understood him. There was never a normal time when I was married to him.

  Most of the time he lived with paranoia and just stayed quiet and home a lot! He never socilized lik normal couples. One time I remember being on the passengrs seat,and he said get down someone has a gun. I ducked down then said is it safe yet I finally looked to see what was going on. There were no cars around at all. He said he was just getting ready for when there was a gun and somone was shooing. There were always excuses for his actions! When it came time for elders meetings he just lt me take complete responsibility. He said nothing.

  Although he would never see a psychiatrist long enough to get diagnosed, he was paranoid schizophrenia. His family some day knows he will needed to be institutionalize.

  I pesonally do not care what happens to him as long as he stays completely away from me. Sometimes he drives by my house and stalks me. He was caught following me down the street by my neighbors. Too many times!

  I remember sitting in the living room with my mother,widowed,visiting with three elders. They said, "It was better that your father and husband had died on this side of Armageddon because he would never survive Armageddon."

  My 6'3 brother heard what they said and ran in there, and told these pathetic elders," they better get the hell out of here and never come back. You got two second and they better run because they were going to get the shit beat out of them!" How dare you for making such a horrible comment to someone who just lost her husband a couple days ago."

  I should have paid more attention to my aha moment because life only got worse in the Borg.

  Insane is right! Those elders are about 80 now still living, still elders!

  So he said that said(this was so funny) people sometimes get things wrong they move ahead.

  A generation are my peers, my age, mother and father and my kids.

  Some times there so much information how does one begin.

  There are three basic subjects who says that only one class should partake why not all who believe in Jesus? No bibical proof for that one!

  After your through with that topic he probably will think he is annointed. Throw in the changes about the GB.

  The society teaches that Jesus is not just Michael the archangle,but three different angels from Revelations. Another angel,an angel,and fallen angel.

  They completely added from the book of Revelations. Its Grand Climax Is At Hand. Goes against what Jesus states. You do not want to belong to a religion where Jesus is going to add plagues. Revelations 22. The book of Revelation is a book by it self!

  Ok I will add one more thought

  Ask him when he got baptised if he believed that Jesus was Michael the Archangel? Not too many talks given on that topic in the 60s-never! If the society believes Jesus is Michael should they have some talks on it? LOL.

  How does he explain that Jehovah called Jesus God in Hebrews.1

  By now yohr exbrother-in-law knows why?

  Ask him why he wants the info on you? Sounds like he has an ego!

  i am just curious as to how much of a problem mental illness is among jws.

  i would like to hear what others have to say regarding their own experiences in this matter.

  specifically, i want to know how these individuals were handled in the congregation and whether or not being a jw contributed to the effects on mental illness.. .

  House holders are usually in a weak state of mind when a JW knocks on their doors.

  JW look for a person who is what? Having personal problems.

  WT are written to attract the weak minded to give them hope.

  A strong minded person would not listen to a JW at the door.

  Do you have the pink Children's small book? There is a little girl sitting on her sex offenders lap.

  The Truth Will Set You Free, a pre flood with some few taller men with Roman soldier wearing odd hats, Druids.Now why would druids be pre flood or were they 8 foot Nephiluims.

  A demon probably looks like a monkey. Does monkeys have ears like that?
