  Jesus is his earthly name, Michael is his heavenly name

  i know this topic has been discussed before on this forum, but as it goes in jw world we need reminders.. co said in his last talk i can't remember the title in speaking about jesus, that when jesus returned to heaven he resumed his name michael.

  jesus was his earthly name.. through the entire rest of the bible after his ressurection not one reference is made about this.

  case in point----when jesus oh wait michael pulled saul over and talked to him, he introduced his self as jesus.

  Most SDA do not know this doctrine.

  The old Eternal life book explains how they came up with Michael, this name meaning “Who is like God?

  Archangel is worth looking up.

  One more point, if you review Daniels 10 I am not yet convinced who are the ones speaking and when,

  and which one did Daniel seemed annoyed with.

  For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.

  18 Then there came again(angel) and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,

  19 And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.(annoyed)

  20 Then said he,(who?) Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.

  21 But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me(who) in these things, but Michael your prince.

  Great point Island Man!

  Someone was offerred a part at the assembly in Georgia! He could do it then blame it on the 95 degree weather!

  Hey did that CO forget Jesus is also three angels in the Revelations book? Another angel,mighty angel, fallen angel! Might be more! There was another one in the Daniels book in a foot note a might be Jesus!

  Troubling experience at 1 day assembly re: little jw child

  just had my 1day assembly this weekend.

  an experience given by the bethel speaker was quite troubling and shows how jw's live in constant paranoia, anxiety and they isolate themselves from normal living.. a first grade class was having a fire drill.

  everyone ( except one) lined up and stood outside away fron the classroom in the grass.

  In the sixties during school we watched holocaust movies and for some reason I thought it was false because it was not Jehovah's day! I barely understood what I was watching!

  My friend and neighbor sitting next to me was crying and so was every one in the auditorium. I told them the films were false so no reason to cry! The world just wants you to be scared. They looked at me with total loathing they explained they were real pictures. I said Jehovah would not allow humans to kill each other in such an awful way! In the third grade, I was so shocked and confused because it was holocaust and not Armageddon.

  Also, something odd happened when my neighbor brought I believe it was a LOOK magazine at the bus stop with full pictures of the assassination of our president. We were taught to basically not care for anything political and to not look at the pictures, because it was Satans organization. It was a young JW way if making a stand for Jehovah. The president was the representative of Satan. The not caring attitude was my JW up bringing toward anything of the world. Very unhealthy. I think with time that taught concept changed.

  why does the GB exclude the word "grace" From its new world basterization of the Word?

  Because cults want their own system of unique words seperate from Christian to control minds.

  Point taken I knew nothing about grace until about twenty years out of the WT.

  Kind of strange for Christians to not understand Gods grace.

  Sorry to hear you gave your life up for a day to hear about a fake story line!

  It just crazy how they make up crap and everyone thinks it is a real experience! Typical made up delusional garbage! Clap,clap!

  Dumb idiots would laugh! I am just so sick and tired of the JWs stupidity. It is like each generation of JWs just gets mentally worse!

  I know someones grandfather died from neglect because the stupid grand daughter, care giver, left him alone. She was paid by the state to watch him daily so she decided to go help establish a Russian KH daily plus pioneer. He took a fall and broke his hip while alone and died because of it. Imgine an elderly man with health problems, age 87, going in his back yard that was near on a fifteen foot drop. Anyhow, she gave her experience at the assembly they said how wonderful she was. How she managed to pioneer, learn to speak Russia so she can help with the Russia community. All this while taking care of her grandfather. Basically she was never there! Really now it would not take much to calculate the time! But they never realised he died because of neglect! They claimed it was because of Jehovah that "she" managed to make it through her tough times. Ahahah

  The more your around assemblies and JW the more fond sick memories you get to recall!

  What a joyful 1 day assembly. I never went to another assembly.

  "a friend of a friend" applied to go to an international convention this year.. they have not heard anything about whether they were accepted or not.. but recently, they received this e-mail:.

  according to our records, you applied and were approved by your body of elders to be a delegate to international conventions outside of the united states, but were not selected.

  Sounds like my siblings! Everyone expresses what they think but nit pick over the little dam details.

  My brother lives to state the opposite or loves to see if he can keep me in total confusion.Sets me up!

  It is like he loves to cause conflict.

  As your story:the husbands wife correcting every little detail of the husband's story! Kick the wife out! Replace her!

  As far as the last supper, I think I will have faith in it and believe what it says.
