  Preparing for my next visit from my Elderette - Who (or what) is the Faithful & Discreet Slave, and why do JW's worship and follow a slave?

  she is coming tomorrow afternoon, and i do plan to have a coherent mind and much better concentration this time.

  i was suffering from hypoglycemia last time she made a surprise visit, and i was foggy and literally could not comprehend a simple sentence i was reading.

  our plans are to discuss the topic of the fds.

  Well no jw has the right to come to their own conclusions. Again another lie!

  I noticed something else she said to make you feel close or to upen your mind up so she can use reasoning.

  For example on your last post she stated something that was false but you agreed. I been there before. Fast statement that sounds good so you say yes.

  When investigators or someone who wants to know more about you they are not going to go to you first!

  They willl asked your neighbors,family,and friends,co workers,and boss about you. They want to know if your a trust worthy person anything dealing with the issues.

  On that note you have insight into this lady visitor.

  FDS why not go to anoher source? WT quotes Josephus and Jewish encylopedia to prove truth. Maybe you should go to Russells and Rutherford books!

  She guided you into a question with pre expectation of your answer. In fact if you think back it sounds like she never gave you much of a choice.

  You wonder way your in a fog might not all be blood sugar it might be the dishonesty of the visitor. JW are trained and until someone disagrees with them they keep using the same stuff.

  Just let her know you want her to explain every option on the FDS. What other religion state!

  Also for fun!

  Do you have a black box? Why not make an ERA machine. box,black marker, words that say ERA on it!

  Put that on your table and ask her if she believes in channelling! just a joke.

  Just answer her question with a question.

  Would you mind if we look it up in another bible? or two!

  Plainly ask her who she thinks the faithful and descreet slave represents?

  Can you prove ths with the bible only?

  Go therefore and make disciples?

  Who else is preaching Gods Name?

  All power and authority was given to Jesus. Knees bowed to Jesus when he said go therefore and preach this good news of the Kingdom?

  What did they preach?

  Jesus was the Messiah.

  New Testament is about preaching Jesus. Granted they spoke about the Father but after Christ death it was about Jesus.

  FDS is a hard mind control thought.

  I doubt she will stay on that topic!

  Partaking is better! Why should people partake? Only one answer! Why they should not partake? Only one answer!

  If one believes in Jesus as the Messiah one should partake. If one does not one should not partake. But the scriptures will lead that one. If she shows you the right scripture! There is one they use.

  If you want eternal life! Who would not want life saving food.

  Have fun.

  No matter what breath and never say what you really would want to say! I've made that mistake!

  thats how my grand mother responded when all of our family members came out of jw organization, either by disassociation or by disfellowshipping.. when we all started studying with jws, my grandmother too was there, but she stopped the study when the discussion over the dead happened.

  she told the study conductor: i am convinced that there is only life, but no death.

  because when my husband died of heart attack, i was not shaken by the incident.

  I wonder if WT thinks evil spirits are attached to certain houses are people. Someone could study but if their houses are not cleaned out then evil spirits would come back with friends.

  I went over an old ladies house as a return visit.Very old. I could not sit in a certain chair because her husband was there. She saw her husband but I did not.

  Also,I knew a lady from the islands. She said when her aunt died she visited her mother during the night. She stood by her bed and told her she past on. The mother told the children that morning that she got a visit from her sister that she died to not worry. Later that afternoon the police came to the door to give her the news about her sisters passing. There were no phones on the islands. It was maybe fifties, forties. The lady who told me this was from the Virgin Islands she was about forty years old and it was about 1982. She was one of the children,she said it happened all the time on the islands. I was shocked because I never heard such things.

  What about India rural area that sees jins or gins! Anyhow,I asked my India friend if it was true. He said you can sit on a mountain,small country hill, and watch them. They look like fire flies but they are not it is the spirit of the dead!

  Anyhow just strange stuff. Thought I would share.

  They seemed to state that a lot!

  Where is that bed time bible story?

  I have dead relatives and so far no evil spirit tried impersonated them.

  she wrote me an email today, and here i am giving you an idea of its contents.

  Non believers of what? Jesus said to treat non believers.

  Jehovah's Witnesses non believers is not bibical.

  I am going to assume that Jesus non believers were people who did not believe that he was the Messiah.

  JWs have a hard time grasping non believer.

  Why because they keep them selves clean.

  They do not believe in fornication?

  They do not practice drug abuse?

  Less chance of adultery?

  They do not believe in wars?

  So as long as one stays as a JW they are happy and protected?

  Yet when people fall short they are kicked out and shunned.

  So the inside group feels protected from the ones practicing sin. Yet Jesus said to forgive seventy seven times! Paul taught itvwas the church that needs to learn to forgive. Not the Jws they threlow the wicked person out!

  Your living in constant delusional fantasy based on an idealistic concept written only in WT and books.

  Everyone has fallen short including the ones inside the JW.

  Have you lied? More than once?

  Do you over eat?

  Have you looked at a women with lust but said nothing?

  Do you think other religions are not protected?

  Or people who do not attend a religion.

  Do you just write a post without answering.

  It is very hard living outside the JW with normal reality that we are all sinners. Some struggle with the JW fantasy and re-live false expectation life in theie heads. Fantasy of how life would be better as a JW. It played out that we were to have happy family lives! Protected. Yet no ones can ever live the expatation that are written in WT. JW are the most judgemental relgions and are compared to Pharisees.

  People are going to screw up. Life is messy! Someone will commit adultery,try drugs,and lie! Yet the JWs do not prepare anyone for reality. Just throw them out without social support. JW do not teach what to do after somone sins against another.

  Because, we were told a fantasy of how we were protected as Jehovahs Witnesses it set every JW up for failure. Marriages are falling a part and childten are being abuse. It has nothing to to with depending on Jehovah. But every thing to do with not teachig people to deal with reality. Groups such as AA and place for homeless and runaway JW. How important it is to have friendships for life to help each other. To give ones life for friendship.

  Jehovahs Witnesses are too judgemental that they forget the basic principles Of why Christ came here.

  It is awful being raised as a JW and watching friends and loved fall short and kicked out! Many young Jehovahs Witness teenagers are doing drugs and high risk life style because they can not deal with the expectations of being perfect. Just being counseled when given talks is harsh, and expecting kids to go in service. Living a boring life why not do drugs!

  I had an elder come to my door bragging how he is doing nothing for his under age daughter. She got involved in drugs. She used drugs got addicted and her parents threw her out to live on the streets. There was no training within the house as for her future: higher education, how to date, and etc,. No training for her perfect world. By the way she was inside the protected organization.

  The WT does not teach how to handle issues they teach to throw the wicked person out!

  If humans could practice the ten commandments perfectly there would be no need for Jesus!

  There is no such things as protection under the WT because it failed Jesus unconditional love.

  They made conditions!

  i am not a jehovah's witness but i am very interested, i have many questions and hope they can be answered here.. i do believe in god, privately.

  i do say my prayers daily and do believe god helps me in countless ways.

  but i don't go to any church.. i have always been impressed at how smart, polite and nice jehovah's witnesses are and i always make time to speak to them when they call at my door.

  NWT copied NIV.

  That is why I go with KG.

  NIV has good historical notes.

  NWT just garbage bible has nothing to offer.
