i have been an elder for 6 years.

it's been the last 2 years or so that i've really seen the hypocrisy, but the ability to know the shenanigans of the society through the body of elders letters has kind of kept me in there.

i'm to the point now that i can't stand the hatred and bitterness that the body of elders has towards myself and my whole family.

How your feeling about your relationship with your wife is just a thought. Not in love today can chamge tomorrow.

Take it slow.

Stepping down as an elder will probably help you with your relationship. In fact that would be a good reason to step down. You want to spend more time nurturing your family. You will look like a super good guy! Although you probably are a super good guy!

Have a great day! Enjoy making your escape out of the eldership instead of dreading it. It all about perspective and doing a litlle I am out of here dance. Booty dance. Texas two step or New York swing.

I hope you seek out professional counselling. Do you feel like your in a war zone because for some exJW that is how it feels like. Anger,confusion, and

unnecessary stress due to elders lies and bull crap.

Trying to be a Jw elder after realizing they are bull shit and causing harm to you and your family members is just asking for more anxieties and harm.Your red flags are working.

Being around a group of mentally ill elders who lacks power in the real world will mess your head up!

For years!

If your sufferring from a little anxiety just keep attending and you could end up worse.

Do you have a hobbie you could do instead of meetings? Or maybe sports.

So Happy to Learn About Homemade Weed Killer

three days ago we mixed up the recipe and sprayed the driveway cracks and several places where the weeds have been hard to get rid of.. today the weeds are dead just like when we've sprayed commercial weed killer.. mix one gallon white vinegar, 1 cup salt, 5 to 6 tablespoons of dawn dishwashing liquid.

note: don't spray if it's fixin' to rain, wait for dry weather so the stuff will stay on the weeds.

and don't spray where you want anything to grow ever!.

there was a brother in my congregation who was an elder.

he got disfellowshipped about two years ago for looking at child porn and also trying to meet up with a thirteen year old boy online.

he was also arrested soon after this.

Would an illness,accident,or almost death experience change your mind?

What will happen to you after death?

If you no longer believe in God,Old Testament God Almighty, Does that mean the entire bible is false?

Just curious how much do you believe of the bible?

Just curious about if you believed the animal sacrifices happened but now you no longer believe the Jewish people sacrificed to stay faithful to their God?

i remember as kids we would say " liar, liar your pants are on fire" and they wern't were they.

so that in itself was a lie.. but is lying always so bad?

i mean for example at an art class as a kid when i had to commented someones work, rather than be nasty, at a picture which was terrible and traced as well !

Do you like it when someone says something that is flattering then later you found out the person said the samething to everyone?

Worse yet you found out it was a lie! The person did not feel that way at all!

You probably would think why did he/she bother because it would not matter! What was the purpose!

It is better to practice saying nothing. Hard to do but it is worth it.
