Maybe not forty years ago.

If an adult rubbed up against another adult in a sexual manner one time. Here in some states it is considered a mild sex offense and could get someone,adult, marked for life as a number 1 sex offender. Children are more protected but some can be marked fir life for a one time occurrence.

Journalist writes about mild paedophile I believe they are referring to the type of offense. At any rate once again I feel like the writer like the WT slanted Dawkins interview for hype.

I am sure you think our heavy disagreements are awful. Please consider as a Jehovahs Witness that YOU can not speak your mind in constant fear of getting place on public or private reproof. Worse yet kicked out because of how you might offended someone.

My point and guess what! We can disagree and occasionally get by with some mudd slinging here!

Why because people have rights to disagree and move on! Without carrying grudges. Get over it with out elders interferring!

Your rights as a practicing Jehovah's Witnesses do not teach this concept.

Your taught to "love" anyone who disagrees! Shun them! Ignore them! They will go away! That is not reality!

This forum is a prime example that yes people diagree and some time sling mud but they can move on and be okay then write to each other in the NEXT topic. You will notice this by reading future topics!

I am sure some JW do not understand this yet! Sometimes Jehovahs Witnesses can learn just by the debates!

As far as Dawkins, I do not want to debate over his personal childhood experiences. I am sure he left his mark in the future college psychology books.

angels and women

i was told by jw's that angels came down to earth before the flood, and had children with women.. i have a question about this and would like the sort of answer a jw would give so that i can be ready for them when they come to my door.. if one third of god's angelic staff were banished to earth, are they doing this now?.

if not, what is stopping them?.

if so, where are all these half angel children?.

Bart the funny thing about Revelations It Grand Climax is no one can date it pre flood. But the JWs and many befire them did. I think it was hidden knowledge and enlightenment for the listners. How else could they pretend to know more! I can assume they used fiction as truth. Considering I doubt they told listeners where they borrowed the quotes.

I bet if someone looked up evil spirits the ones Jesus cast out they are probably the wicked angels. Anyhow, who knows maybe there are Watchers, wicked fallen angels that heard Jesus message and now help him. But remain in an earthly spiritual realm.

Angels and Women if done in a movie would be better than most Christian films. It such a good twist.

As a JW I would say that son means angels. Job 1.

But I do not believe sons means angel in Gen 6:2 sons of true God.

Lots of luck because it is not just a JW teaching. I think in the 1900s churches that had the book of Enoch probably taught it as enlightenment.

Just like Russell qouted the book of Enoch claiming to be the bible! And JWs followed the belief.

No where in the bible that it says Angels took wives but it is in the Book of Enoch and Russell qouted it.

Trust me, years from now your going to realize you did not miss out, left out, on anything.

Once you realize it most of the doctrines are lies the rest is dealing with reality.

Reality might not be as emtional crippling as living in a fake JW concept but at least it is every day life.

Granted there will be days your going to think your too critcal, how much love you had as a JWs, and surrounded by friends. Compared to now and living without as many people.

You need to realize that Peacful life as a JW has been playing in your mind for a very long time. The friends were part of the packaged deal.

All just made up.

We all set through hours of mind control talks and magazine filled our heads with safe peacful life style BECAUSE WE WERE JWS. Just like the video stated We are JWs!

Unfortunately it is a very hard one to overcome that fuzzy safe feeling. Just remember if one is not JWs off to destruction you go according to WT.

What does the beautiful Washington scenery have to do with serving Jehovah. It is like using unhealthy elderly! Jesus never said the unhealthy were to preach or the elderly. Unhealthy guy and his wife was worried about serving Jehovah!

If they were so WORRIED about serving God they would not feel the need to hand out brochures and books other than the bible!

Preaching the good news was about the apostles bowing down and giving ALL POWER AND AUTHORITY over to Jesus. ALL power and authority was given to Jesus so preach Jesus make deciples of Jesus followers. Christians came after Jehovah,YHWH, preachers.

Witness to Jehovah would be Old Testament.

Also, there is no such thing as spiritual Israelites. It is made up.

The bottom bible says to not WORRY about wars and reports of war, end time events.

It sad to see elderly couple wasting their last years handing out brochures.

It is a habit and for some an addiction. Never can do enough is just a sad addiction.

There should be worldwide AA meetings for anyone suffering from JW guilt.

in the last 6 months my family and i have stopped attending cold turkey.

it is incredible to me to see how our so called friends have dropped us like we were a snake covered in spiders.

we actually havent really said anything to anybody about why we stopped.

I know it is hard at times but at least you did the right thing by getting out!

Your children hopefully are young enough to forget the JW association and develop school friends.

Now you can celibrate birthdays and holidays.

Ignore the thinking and calling yourself names because life keeps moving.

I know 2 of the Elders on the Ray Franz JC

when i read coc, i was stunned that the 2 elders (theotis french & rob dibble) were on ray franz judcial committee.

i have known these men for over 20 years having done rbc and convention work with them.

they are still elders today which means they were in their early 30's(which is unheard of for a case of this importance to have inexperienced elders to sit on) on this committee.. without revealing myself, i have never tried(but have wanted to), ask them about their on having to judge a former gb member.. then out of the blue, about a year ago, i was mentioning how hard it is trying to get younger ones to volunteer to one of these elders, and he says"this is nothing compared to to sitting on the committee that had to disfellowship ray franz".

Yes, most elders do not explain doctrains at JC meetings in fear of error. They make sure they have a WT article ready for the receiver to read during reinstatement meetings.

Elders make promises and slip up on deceptions and lies.

When they df someone they quote a scripture and give the judgement then go home!

Ray Franze would already know and expect the out come where as some are devastated.

In twenty years of knowing this elder,how many delibrate lies did you catch? How many worship this elder from afar?

As far as that scripture it is a given that anyone can pick and choose who to eat with. Rutherford was a greedy drunk and a railer! Yet many made him into a mini god which is idolatry. KH are pyramids schemes the same thing goes on in KH,elders are demi gods.

i have suffered with menopausal symptoms for a few years now.

hot flushes and facial sweating, the most noticeable to others.. a sister i knew used to laugh and pretty much, mock me.

i used to say "you wait till you get them" , without being nasty.. i seriously hope she suffers.

WT does not attract normal people! That is a good example how pathetic and petty the women are toward others! Many so called "sisters" are wanting bull shit attention,and will belittle anyone along the way to meet their emtional needs!

Your probably not the only one who walked away from this ladies rudeness feeling like you just wanted to slap her down. Do not think too much about it but next time call her out by letting her know that her attitude is rude!

I have been in several churches, and so far the most dysfuntional group toward fellow members are the JWs. Hands up!

I can assume because:

Other churches share so everyone knows what is going on with another member. Women are doing things together during the week so they are not emotionally starved for attention.

I bet not one sister talked with you as to why this lady behaved this way?

Jehovahs Witnesses are taught not to gossip. We were taught to PUT UP WITH ONE ANOTHER including behavior because everyone is imperfect and one does not know what the individual is going through in their personal life.

Catch 22:

If you asked another sister why sister was rude most likely you would get dinged for gossiping! Your hurt so someone hurts you more!

Perhaps someone over heard the conversation she/he can not help you understand due to gossiping rule! Instead of helping they are worried about becoming "Marked" for for life as a trouble maker who gossips.

Churches:

I have not been in other churches who take helpful gossip as a sin!

Healthy ladies would want to help you understand. Churches have womens groups so women can bond! Most ladies would want to help you through her rude behavior yet maintain a healthy friendship with Ms.Rude lady.

Your Health Issues:

Hopefully, your hot flashes might get easier mine did. I had two surgeries for endometriosis and they were like c sections.

A little personal history: I grew up with doctors and elders stating that I would die during any operation! I survived the elders and petty sisters stigmas. Doctors were afraid to operate without blood. I heard lots of rude comments toward other ladies. I survived the elders manipulation and doctors fears!

Bad person:

Wishful thinking, God already did that one :-)

the annual meeting of the governing body of jehovah's witnesses will be in october 2014.. .. in november 2013, just after the last one they published this now famous statement in the 15th of november 2013 watchtower page 16 paragraph 17 says:.

"at that time, the lifesaving direction that we receive from jehovahs organization may not appear practical from a human standpoint.

all of us must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not.".
