  Need advice for asking a girl out

  well long story short, i've been meaning to ask this girl at school out for a while but i can never do it because her friends are always there in the way and i would prefer to ask her in person.

  we've liked each other for a while (i was oblivious until about a month or two ago) and i'm also i bit worried she'll get tired of waiting.. i was just wondering if anyone had any advice or something that they could give me.

  Sounds like you will never ask her for her number.

  Imagine what is the worse thing that she could say. No, right!

  You need all the practice you can get. And lots of rejection. It is the expected answer.

  Good news someone will say yes!

  we have been told that this yhwh is the symbol for gods name and that they the jews didn't use his name because it was so special.

  history shows that the name was banned for a time before the maccabees and after it was to sacred to say.

  there is a problem with this idea though and that is, in older writings of the name dating back to around 1400 bce in egypt the name yhw was found and yhwh was also found on a moabite stella also very old.

  Love the Golem story it might have some truth.

  That is why they stopped calling on the name of God so certain ones could have the power. Some thought they could raise the dead with the name.

  What do you think are the future doctrine changes will be?

  Well if donations are only a dollar a month they can give members a slip to donate like tithe! But call it contribution slips.

  Debit cards or visa accounts. A set donation.

  Also the SDA pass a bag around before book study.

  Maybe that could be one of the changes. Less books and pass the plate.

  It is all the same.

  They could opened the doors for coffee time at their inside book stores. Put some sofas in a room. Give people a place to gather with a donation by the coffee pot or pass the bag around. People will be giving all the time!

  In some strange odd way but fun,apostate will be re evaluated and placed into catogories: Thinkers,doubting Thomas,and prophets. Make a sub division after Thomas that meets on different days or nights.

  That includes exJW that are now Atheist.

  Honestly not everyone can think the same! Did Jesus shun people no! Only Satanic ones!

  Now they have double their money.

  Your on to something.

  Make the public WT every three months. Sunday study WT on line and studied on a big screen.

  Sunday talks will be done from GB building. People viewing on Sunday will see a big screen.

  They will need to handle sex JC cases differently. Warning that they need to report crimes.

  i must admit when i was in, the idea i had of an apostate, was an angry bitter person who would picket out side a convention.

  i was looking on jwservey and found on the respondents to a servey that 54% were either active members or fading members.

  this made me wonder is the organisation underestimating the extent of apostasy.

  Hopefully the WT will copy the Catholic Church and have a section just for apostasy! The majority of Catholic are unaware of tge following:

  Every JW could fit the profile of and apostate because it only takes one doubt and question. Mark!

  What can the GB do? Disfellowship everyone or change the rules. Copy the Catholics.

  Hope the boring Photo Drama of Creation has a cartoon show first! May I suggest the true story of Mr. Snake with that fun loving woman,Eve? Or was it Mr.Snake with that fun loving man,Adam. Oh hmm never mind it was not a JW teaching! How about the cartoon show with angels having sex with women. That is the one because it has better morals for the young children to view.:-)

  Also, do you think the building should be in the shape of a pyramid with the entrance walls explaing an inch for a year and 1914 or 1915? Stairs leading downward with the walls inch for a year explaining historical Jesus Christ as we enter closer to hell? That really is my favorite historical memory of Jesus!

  I think my imagination got the best of me but it was fun!

  Just got a call from an elder

  so i faded over a year ago...i told the elders that if i needed them i would call them.

  1 year and 3 months later, today, i get a call from an elder who used to be my good friend...he calls and i dont pick up..he leaves a voicemail, saying "hello ____, please call me back at 444-444-4444 whenever you can".

  i was like wow, this has to be one of those calls to get inactive ones back to the memorial.
