  we are up for a new kind of persecution in the future.

  a new form that was unheard of for us.

  in australia, disfellowshipped and dissasociated are planning on suing jw for emotional and mental hardship for being cast out completely.

  Jw's dont really care about doctrine do they?

  it seems to me that jw's really don't care about doctrine.

  ephesians chapter 4 verse 11 "and he gave some as apostles others as prophets, others as evangelists, others as pastors and teachers to equip the holy ones for the work of ministry for the building up of the body of christ until we attain the unity of faith and knowledge of the son of god to mature manhood to the extent of the full stature of christ so that we may no longer be in infants tost by waves and swept along by every wind of teaching arising from human trickery from their cunning in the interest of deceitful scheming".

  is it just me or does this verse totally annihilate the doctrine or belief in new light.

  Sure the JWs believe in doctrine, there own!

  So Eph, is different in the New World Translation compared to your version. When you read this scripture as a JW it was suppose to represent the congregatation during that time frame and carried out for today reprsentives who are the Holy Ones. JWs called the Holy Ones the 144,000! I think now it is Governing Body. New Light.

  12 Really now readjustment of the holy ones! Unlike most churches today,JW need to readjust their thinking until Jehovah makes everyone understands,accurate knowledge. The new Governing Body are to bring the congegatation the new changes until each JW obtains accurate knowledge. Accurate knowledge is A JW Doctrine. With a clause: If you disagree with their teachings you did not "decern" the accurate knowlegde therefore your treated as a weak person. Many JW will say "time will tell" or you just keep striving to gain knowledge. Only certain ones were given abilities of discernment. another doctrine.

  The big doctrines here is 14 toosed about as waves and carried away. Meaning for JWs is that all churches are wrong! so as a JW you could get tossed around by reading out side the WT Accurate knowledge! You could be confused and even loose your life at armegeddon. No Josephus,Stoicism,Historical Christian, Catholism. WT society can read these things but not members unless the light got brighter and I am unaware. :-)

  15 "The truth" Meaning only Jehovah's Witnesses has the Accurate Knowledge. The Truth is there doctrine! one must speak the truth. WT doctrines over rides your bible version.

  Please feel free to reread this scripture in a different new Light! :-) As far as JWs, I believe they gloss over and kind of ignore 11 because that was not for our time.

  I got asked to do the literature cart witnessing!

  so as i have told everyone here, i am well along in my fade, and know ttatt.

  i have even been pursued by the elders and interrogated re my "seemingly loss of spirituality and activity etc..." even though i am still an ms.. but cop this!...

  i have been asked to join in the exclusive literature cart witnessing activity!

  Should I date someone that is very Pro-Jewish?

  there is a girl that i like and she has been emailing me recently.

  we have not met each other just yet.

  she is jewish and she is very involved with jewish organizations, etc...should i be concerned about it?

  Wew,I sounded harsh! Sorry there is not a harsh bone in my body.

  Just remember the girl is probably feeling like you. She probably getting all excited.It is ok if she is Jewish so was Jesus;-)

  Meet that girl and take her to dinner. Laugh at evetything she says leave her wanting kto get to onow you. :-)

  Phizzy I enjoy how easy and clear you explain things! :-)

  There is a need to post Bibical topic to prove how WT abuses scripture. No such thing as a far easier when a light gets brighter.

  It is how that is important.

  JW Lurkers need to see and compare WT false truths versus bible scriptures.

  Lurkers need to see how others read scriptures different from WT.

  That is what this forum is about to help JW and this is one of the first steps.

  Where in the bible does it state these dates?

  Counsel of Jersulem took place in 50 AD.

  False accusation were made eight years later,in 58 AD.

  I am not very good with chronology but learned that no matter what dating time line in the bible is kind of hard to do.

  In Acts a letter did go out to the Gentiles referring to Acts 15:1. Anyhow Acts 15:28 does not list circumcision as a requirement.

  As you know some came from Judea preaching false doctrine: People could not be save unless circumcised. Acts 15:1

  Jehovahs Witness are right infant circumcision is not required. Most circumcision are usually performed on babies. However, these versus were about people and not infants! There were a group stirring up problems for Paul. Acts 15:1 abd prior. Circumcision was never a commandement for salvation.

  The problem was not only circumcision but customs.

  It caused a great deal of problem for Paul that probably lasted for years. Maybe longer than eight years.

  No such thing as a Governing Body in Paul's Christian group. WTBTS made up this concept to get modern day followers to believe there was a GB in Paul's time. It helps reader believe into the concept more, and they probably they they are fullfilling earlier Christianity.

  The bible is not wrong!

  The on going attempts to use chronology and date to certain events are a bit over kill. I learned from 1914.

  The WTs use of manipulation to get ones to believe in the GB is wrong. Makes them a cult!

  WT teaching of infant circumsision is no longer a requrement is right but not in the context of scripture qouted because it was not about children but all new Christian Gentiles.

  WT is wrong on trying to use chronology to prove Pauls dates of 50 AD. No such thing as a FIRST century GB. ekks!

  Because the years did not matter they sought to kill Paul. Some Jewish people wanted him dead. Paul preached Jesus Christ.

  Did you noticed the Holy Spirit "says"in Acts 20:10.

  Prophet Agabus prophesied about what was going to happen to Paul?

  Which came true!

  Paul was ready to be bound for the Lord Jesus? not Jah! 14 and 15 The Lord's will be done? Referring to Jesus Christ.

  There were four daughter that were prophetess and a prophet Agabus.

  Agabus gives Paul a message, "says the Holy Spirit." And it happened.

  What the Holy Spirit says and told Paul. Now that goes against me Jw teachings! A force that says!

  No dates used

  Paul was ready to be bound for the Lord Jesus.

  And they said Lord's will be done.

  Gentiles were given a written letter that did not state circumcision Acts 15:29

  You are to abstain from foods sacrfice to idols, from blood, and from meat of strangled animals. All of these have something to do with foods not blood tranfusions!

  One needs to drain meat and pour the blood out before eating. Last one sexual immorality. Not my business.

  Gentiles would do well to avoid these things.

  Being a Witness results in selfish and self centered people!

  i have noticed that many witnesses are very self centered and selfish people as a result of "leaving everything in god's hands to correct".

  what i mean is, because "the kingdom will fix poverty, the homeless, poor, underpriveleged, etc...." it means they can just pass by those in need, or fulfill their natural human desire to help (if they have it) by just giving literature!.

  so, just preach to those in need, and then you can feel good and smug about yourself!.

  Hairtrigger that is sad! Maybe you knew the signs of what to look for when someone is having a breakdown.

  Most people would just think she was odd and not understand how to help.

  I also wonder if there was a certain time in WT history where psychological evaluation was frowned upon.

  Many people did not believe in out side help just prayer and depend on Jah.

  I only noticed one article in the Wt it was in small print in a foot note that said somthing like: sometime a person needs psychological help out side God's organization. There could have been others,I never looked for articles to see the WT views on mental illness.

  Good thing you were there!

  It sad how JWs gossip about people who were sick.

  Anyhow, in the sixties JWs were different and willing to help others. It was later maybe starting in the 80s things started to change.

  Cold as ice attitudes were the reason why I faded.
