well it's not that i'm not sleeping - i am - just only 2-3 hours at a time.. when i try to stay awake i start feeling nauseous from the lack of sllep and have to go lie down.
then sleep for a couple of hours then the pain in my feet starts up and i am awake.. i just spent the second whole night this week wide awake.
then during the day i am falling asleep for two hours then awake for an hour and back to sleep.
gawd almighty I'm so sorry for what you (and so many others) are going through Lee! Not sleeping is the absolute worst thing, no wonder sleep deprivation is used as a form of torture in some countries.
Here's another suggestion: melatonin. In Canada we cannot get it over the counter but I have several bottles from a trip to the U.S. a while back. It's in the vitamin supplement sections of health food stores and many grocery stores. If you want to try it, I'll bring some for you when we meet up next month, just PM me or let Scully or Guest know.

Actually that very topic came up once, when I was a hard-core dub. I was relating what happened to an employee at work who had to do jury duty for a murder trial. A husband killed his wife, simple enough, except that when motive came up, you know, jealousy, cheating spouse, etc., the details about the "husband's" sex change operation came into the open. The worst part was that the adult daughter was in attendance during the trial and only found out about it along with everyone else - her "father" had actually been a woman at one time and had had a sex change operation. And .... while a woman, this person had had a baby. Guess who? Right, the daughter. So the daughter finds out that her father is actually her mother, and that her father/mother killed her mother who ended up not really being her mother, but the spouse of her real mother. Talk about convoluted.
Anyhoo, I said "wow, imagine if a couple like that came into the troof!"
The CO said that they'd have to get divorced and revert back to the way they were. "You are as when you were born, either male or female. That's the way Jehovah created you and that's what you are till the day you die."
i went to get my hair done and my beautician happens to be a dub.
she has known me and my family for a long time and she has an idea that im "inactive" but thankfully she hasnt been really nosy otherwise i would take my business elsewhere.

for good....... just say...... all contacts on here would be shut off, you would have no way of contacting anyone on here that you may have done before or do now, you would be left as you stand now, still with your family and friends, work colleagues in whatever capacity you enjoy them in real life, but without those you now know onscreen through this forum.
