Don't do that again!!!
Okay, now I'll read the article.

As Vicki mentioned, I don't know who you are or what your agenda is. Charles C. Mark is very easy (as in very, very, very easy) to find in the phone book. Vicki gave you the website for a Canadian online telephone directory. Use it. And don't plead poor English. She gave you the name, all you have to do is T Y P E I T I N just as she spelled.
Vicki: I've just been reading through these posts, I don't know if I can help. I'm a legal assistant and can try asking some questions when I get back to the office on Tuesday. Please PM me if you think I should ask something about recourse or costs. I don't really know much about litigation, my boss is a banking/finance lawyer, but I can ask around. The other thing is common law vs. civil law, I don't know if the same thing would apply in Ontario as here in Quebec.
We are all thinking of you and hoping the best for you, although I know that's not much at this stage of the game.

the following answers are from the watchtower.... .

(men of sodom and gomorrah will be resurrected).
Well no I really wasn’t, but then again I guess I was, but no not really, oh yes I was ... OH GOD!!! Freeman
LOL!!!
If only the dubs could see this spelled out for them - wouldn't something click? Wouldn't they then realize what a bunch of crap it all is?
i'm sure this has been done, but i'm very curious to hear stories from your preaching work as a publisher, aux.
pioneer, reg.
pioneer, whatever.
I think I mentioned this one before, once we were invited into a young woman's house and gave our spiel, to which she listened politely, then said that seeing as how she had listened to us, we were to listen to her. She then pulled out a small photo album and showed us photos of UFOs (yes, they looked exactly like the movie version of silver-colored flying saucers - this was back in the late 70s so I don't know much about how to touch up photographs pre-computer era). Okay, so she's a bit nutty, and maybe as a photographer knew how to fake these photos.
Then she pulls out a notepad with extremely detailed drawings of the inside of the spacecraft (like a blueprint, drawn to scale), and proceeds to explain how she was actually inside this craft and that the aliens chose her because they knew she would follow their instructions, which were to tell the world that they had to pursue a peaceful way of life, destroy all nukes, etc. She said that she had written to the Prime Minister (Canada) and the President (U.S.) and her mission was to tell everyone she met as well as write various heads of state with this message.
I can't remember what the aliens planned on doing if we all didn't listen to this gal's message, I'm sure it was something horrible. We were so freaked out we wanted to get out of there as fast as possible. In our minds of course she was 100% demonized. Never went back to see her (and her little friends).
how many jws are there currently in the wt who want out but are held back by things they feel they can't control?
i hear posters say that if they're still jws then they must believe it.
what about the people whose whole family are jws and don't have any outside friends to turn to or for whatever reason are relying on their jw family for financial help and know that if they expressed doubts they would be cut off no questions asked.
I want out, and am biding my time until (this is awful to say) my mother passes away. I am the link between her and the visits she receives from the dubs, and they all think I'm still in good standing (it helps to speak more than one language - one hall thinks you're at the other hall, and vice versa).
It's like counting hours in field service - if there were suddenly no more service reports to hand in, how many would continue banging on people's doors? If it wasn't for the shunning and isolation, how many would leave?
as i was growing up in the troof.
there were sayings used over and over again to control my behaviour.
the biblical on bad associations spoil useful habits and another on just because everyone else does it doesnt mean you have to do it to, would you jump off a cliff just because other people do what were the sayings that bugged you?
"There is no real happiness outside Jehovah's organization"
(so why are all those people smiling?)
yesterday, i experienced a tragedy in my family.
my cat of 7.5 years simone' died.
two days ago i left for work and she seemed fine.
I'm so sorry about your cat - they really do become part of the family. I've had pets die and the pain you go through is awful.
My condolences. As Rayzorblade suggested, perhaps another cat/pet will help soften the blow.

i just returned home from a nightmarish trip to chicago.
i came in peace, and was shit on by my aunts and a cousin.
what they did was unforgivable.
Since we likely came from that dimension to this one for some reason(s), i sometimes wonder if there is much importance in delving into the other one while we are in this one. As a hobby, it is fine. But people who accomplish much here are often focused on the material realm, many are totally free of religion of any kind. They stand firmly on their own two feet.
SS: OMG! Just had a light bulb moment - I don't know if saying that this "fits me exactly" is the right way of describing my feelings, but you have just cleared up so many questions/wonderings/doubting about a spiritual realm and our place in it !! THANK YOU!
the couple were 85 years old, and had been married for sixty .
years.. though they were far from rich, they managed to get by because .
they watched their pennies.. .
That's a riot!! Thanks!
