i'll be visiting my brother (non-jw).

i don't know what my schedule will be just yet; probably will go to buffalo for a day.

i'll be there during the week february 7-10 (we'll be taking the train together back to quebec on friday).. would be cool if schedules permitted me to meet up with some fellow 'postates!.

an ever growing number of witnesses would like to leave the organization - but how?

you may have an extended family "in the truth".. all your "friends" ( and that word "friends" deserves to be put in quotes ) may be "in the truth".

you may not be in any position to make.

I like Meta's suggestion about illness. It is the one road out of the organization with no roadblocks. That's because JWs don't really care about people once they become incapacitated and can no longer contribute to the cause. If you're sick, they'll ask you about it once or twice, but after that - when it appears you have a chronic problem - you are emotionally dismissed by most of your "friends," as well as the elders.

What also may help is if you ask for help with specific tasks everytime a "friend", elder, whoever calls to ask about you. As in, "I've been so sick, can't manage to : mow the lawn/shovel the snow/wash the floor/do grocery shopping/vacuum/fix the car - whatever needs to be done at the time they call. You may get some help at first (highly unlikely), which is always a good thing, but my bet is they'll soon stop calling if they get asked to do something for you every time you hear their voice.

Then they may tell you to look into any help social agencies or clinics or whoever may be able to give you. Then, if they still call (highly unlikely), you have the excuse that you have to stay home and keep tabs on the "worldly" people who are helping you out, etc. etc.

evil c*nt (can I write that here? if anyone deserves that description it's Homolka). My brother's neighbour used to work at the same veterinary clinic as that heartless bitch. When I visited him while the trial was on, I spoke to some of the people in his neighbourhood and they couldn't stand Bernardo, but their hatred of Homolka was visceral - like an open, bleeding wound.

She's the one who cut up body parts to stuff 'em in the freezer. Bernardo may have been the Scarborough rapist, and a horrible individual, but he never murdered until the bitch came along. It was that f*cking psychopath who offered her own sister to be raped and mutilated as a birthday present to hubby Bernardo. And that somehow makes her the victim??

A literal hell would be too good for the likes of that evil witch.

where i live, you can smell the odor of paper mills.

it's a port city and people speak french here.

i think the average age of people here is one of the higest in canada.. there is a shrine that attracts many tourists in the summer time.

don't forget the jazz festival, and in March there's the Salon des vins (wine & spirits will be taking over the convention centre for 4 days - I better take the Monday off work!)

If you go onto Google, and select 'preferences' you can change the language to Klingon, then you can change it to loads of different weird languages. Its hilarious, and it wastes a whole afternoon if you work in an office!
