it's beginning to annoy me when people send me text messages and e-mails of this sort.

it's even more annoying when it comes from people who i primarily associated with while i was still active, but who i haven't heard a word from since i quit going to meetings a couple months ago.

most of these people live less than five minutes from me and would be welcome at my house anytime.

Do you know how many times my husband and I said that as we were reading 'Crisis of Conscious' or 'In Search of Christian Freedom' or the thread on 'Menlo Park Elders..' or storis like yours and many others.

I hear you and believe everything what you said and have yet said. Do you know what one of those guys(evil slave who beat sheep) told us? He can't sleep at night and hasn't been for many years. I wonder why.

steve2, I was offering my opinion any more or less than you are giving yours. I however did not assume others motives nor took sides of involved party. I was not showing any compassion to Df'ed man nor was I minimizing the crime itself. I do not know the guy and any involed circumstances more than you do if not less. That's why I posted eariler that I do give crap what he MAY has gone through while condeming his criminal action.

I have a daughter committed suicide a coupl of years ago the very same night she was dealt judicially by her elders. She maybe had commited gross sin, I don't know what she did because she was an adult and living another State, and was may well deserved to be DF'ed but She did not deserve to be pushed to the edge by the elders to the point taking her own life. I know what some elders are capable of in the name orgarnization and they do things that are unspeakabably inhuman. This elders never even apologized to us for what they put her through which directly caused her death. They in fact never even acknowledged any wrong done in their part. If and when my husband ever wanted to kill them I see where he is coming from and that's the reason I said when I said I want to beat the crap out of a few elders.

Of course you would not have known where I am coming from without any futher explanation. I just trying to see what would lead the man to do commit such a thing while condeming his crime. One thing I failed to mention was that the elder and his family were the victims of this heinous crime.

my wife and i got a letter sent to me stating we are being called before a judical hearing to discuss allegations of apostasy!

we haven't gone to the meeting in 5 years.

are the jw's on a witchhunt lately?

Or you can report it to the local Police Department for harassment charge if the elders keep after you once you decided to ignore them. I know some one on this forum did that and elders' harassement stopped after they got phone call from the police.

I do not believe any of posters here neither promoting any criminal behavior nor trying to justfy any criminals but sharing FELLOWFEELING! It's like rape victims sharing their trama with fellow rape victims while discussing a case of attempted murder of a certain rape victim against his/her perpetrator. Of course you will never understand unless you were the victim yourself neither will try to understand its nature while keep in mind that Crime is Never Ok.

No excuse whatsoever. He should face the full weight of the law.-Sure he should and so should the elders for their Crimes!
