  AK McGrath: "I just asked the atty if the WTBTS of PA will be pursued in this case. There is no jurisdiction to do so."

  Thank you for asking that question. The Atty added the WTBTS of PA was not in charge until 2001. This particular case happened in mid 90's. That said, the WTBTS of PA is liable for any other cases that happened on or after 2001. Correct me if I misunderstood.

  I am sure you all know that it is the WTBTS of PA that with all the money and the assets.

  Candace, I am inspired by your courage and integrity. You have spoken clearly and loudly for us all. Thank You!

  I am so sorry what you've had gone through. What the monster did to you was bad enough and yet the Watchtower made your situation from bad to worse. How grossly hyporite when McCabe(JW elder/lawyer) said, "Jehovah's Witnesses abhor child abuse, they are forefront in exposing it." You and many of us know better. The truth is, "Jehovah's Witness abhor the JW victims of child abuse, they are forefront in punishing the victims and their family who exposing it." You are the Winner and courageous Survivor in any event! Justice prevailed!

  I would also like send my gratitude to Mr. Simons who took your case and did right thing by fully supporting you.

  Thank you Barbara for your commitment for the sake of justice. You and your husband as well as Bill Bowen have been cut off by your own family and grandchildren for your courageous acts. I am forever grateful for that.

  it took me a long time to write this....i'm being brutally honest...i am still a reg pioneer...three sundays ago,i was praying and asking god for a sign or something because i was so confused...i told him exactly what i needed to see for me to believe.i was feeling terrible--crying and feeling sick because i was so confused.ten minutes after, i walked into the kingdom hall and to my surprise--my prayer was answered!

  i soooo wasn't expecting it, even though i prayed.

  so this is where almighty god wants me to be,ii've reasoned.

  I sure hope you are making a rational but emotional decision. Are you bother by the '12 reasons why we preach part' that you had at the meeting last night?

  Sweetie, if you read and examine every single points carefully, you know they are not scriptural. One of the points said, "it is requirement for our salvation." Whatever happened to Jesus who said he is the way, truth, life? Our salvation is possible sole because of his ransom sacrifice. It's God's undeserve kindness. We can never earn it by our work. That's the teachings of the Bible.

  James 2:26 says that 'faith without works is dead'. JWs use this scripture to support their activities. But that scripture is simply counselling us to live our lives in harmony with teachings of Christ. That is act of kindness and love. We know that is the case if we read entire chapter. They are given examples of Abraham and Rahab for instance. Verse 25 says Rahab declared righteous by works after she had received the messengers hospitably and sent them out by another way. She acted (not just in word) mercifully. Read 1Corin 13:1-3. and Matt chapter 12. I just don't see how JWs who engage in door to door ministry deligently and yet refuse to give hand to those who's in need. At least that has been the case in my area for years. And I understand my area is hardly unusual in this way.

  Besides, God doesn't rely on us human to sanctifiying his name nor does he depend on us to help people gaining knowlege of him. It's Him and His Son who draw people to them(James 4:8, Draw close to God. He will draw close to you). How presumptuous in our part in claiming as if God is too vulnerable in that he must depend on JWs to do his works.

  congress should authorize the irs to promulgate regulations; investigate members, employees, and former members complaints; and enforce legislation.

  an organizations tax exempt status should be suspended for not less than 3 years that does not promote freedom of religion and speech to its members and employees and instead intimidates or coerces them.. .

  I was at the Naturalization Ceremony the other day. A lady from Laos related her story.

  She was 5 when she and her family fled her native Country 32 years ago. Laos fell to the Communist Regime. She has waited last 32 years to return her native Country but finally gave up in realizing its ongoing inhumane political situation. She said,

  "We have no idea how good we have here(the US). If we were to have a public meeting like this one in my native Country, we would be arrested and never to be seen again. There's no human dignity or basic human rights are honored in Laos. I am proud to become an American citizen and grateful for the land that allow me to have dream and freedom."

  I also am a proud citizen of the US that honors the voice of no one without punishment.
