We are entitled to our opinions just as long as we're not involved in any illegal activity. Exactly!
As far as concerning contacting various agencies, I have no personal knowledge of single conviction(other than police agency) from anti-Watchtower activities. That being said, I have been wondering if we have been rather shy on this area. I have some personal experiences of working with the CPS and other agencies on Watchtower abuse cases. I can't disclose any more info publicly yet but will PM you(LV101) for detail info.
Anyone who knows Watchtower abuse cases(sexually, emotionally, mentally, physically, negligent) should contact the local Police, Child Protective Service, FBI, and/or any related agencies. If victim is an elderly, there are a special hot line for it. Infomant will be remained as anonymous. Your identity is protected by law.(in the US)

LV101, Actually there's another thing we can do as well. You've mentioned Child Protection Service(in the US) earlier. It is a good agency to report any child abuse cases(sexual or not). The Agency work with the law enforcement. You can also report the abuse cases to FBI if abuser crossed the State line with his/her victim. There are also verious agencies and community advocates that also can help to prosecut the abusers and will look into Watchtower's criminal involvment on the cases. PM me if you want more info.

" this possibly indicates that there is more than one archangel, because it places michael on the same level as the other "chief princes.
jehovah's witnesses state, "well, the prefix "arch," meaning "chief" or "principal," implies that there is only one archangel.

pseudo, I used to believe the Michael=Jesus teaching for 25 years as a Jehovah's Witness. It wasn't until recently from reading the Bible without Watchtower publications, I finally realized that can't be the case.
According to Hebrew 1:1-6, Jesus become better than the angels(verse 4) and all God's angels do obeisance(New Word Translation, 'worship' in New International, Living Bible, etc in verse 6) to Him. The scriptures made it clear that Jesus is better and higher than any angels period! So then, how Jesus can be Michael the archangel?

ninja, I am glad you had positive experiences on this issue. I am also glad to hear some elders out there using common sense and trying to do the right thing.
However, your niveness based on your limited experience(is this first-hand experience by the way?) and your unfounded accusation toward the rape victims of the Watchtower Society and its elders is preposterous. I am glad my daughter is not reading your thoughtless comment. Only if you knew what these young victims had gone through! That very same attitude judged and revictimized 13, 14 year old innocent victims of rape. The elders closed their ears and hearts when they were approached for help. We thought they were shepherds. Didn't realize they were oppressive wolves that will not treat the flock with tenderness(Acts 20: 28).

Is that how you felt from the vocies of victims of serial rapist/pedophile of Jehovah's Witness elder in San Diago(court transcript is available on this site)? What about Candace Conti or numerous other victims? Were they all out of context in anger?
How was this even possible? He was a serial known(among elders) pedophile for more than decade and yet made all the way to a congregation servant position(same as Presiding Overseer). What would your father say?
Is it fare for me to say you sound like that of judging, self-righteous, lack of experienced elders?
You, as well as those elders, would change mind, once one of your/ their own become a victim of the Watchtower Society(not that I ever wish that to anyone). Lack of empathy!

i'm dfed been dfed for about 4 to 6 years if you include the first dfment and getting back in for 6 months then 2008 dfed second time.. i did alot of research in 2010 to now and well from getting dfed for a total different reason just makes me look like a sinner who is unrepentent in my family.
the only people who know my researching is mainly my sister and mom.. .

Just add one more. Suggest your sister to research the word 'disfellowship' from the New Word Translation.(there's none). Then have her research the word 'expell' from NWT. There are about 3 or 4 incidents of it in NWT. They are all have to do with the Pharisees and the Jewish system based on their rigid rules and traditions. Account on John chapter 9 is really interesting.

Longhairgirl, it's because Jehovah's Witnessess are a dangerous mind control cult. They are trained to go through their elders first and foremost. They are also brain washed to not trust wordly authority.
A Circuit Overseer reminded the witnesses not to trust wordly authority and said, "Building our trust theocratic authority will save our lives." This was just back in May. (sigh!)

You are right. But watchtower elders usually won't give up their periodic fun that easy. They go as far as disfellowshipping the family of victims if they are challenged. One elder made a remark about judicial action as "judicially processing." You and me are like products that's being processed.
That said it all!

WT Society Feels they are Above the Laws of the Land - Even in their own....

knowing that the candace conti child abuse case was probably coming down the turnpike as was the 5 out of court child abuse settlements the wt society settled in san diego, california - this past april as most of you know the wt society sent a secret letter instructing all elders to essentially keep their " pie-holes " shut ( mouths for those not hip to modern lingo ) and essentially instructed them to not divulge anything to any authorities investigating crimes or other information concerning wt organization operations.. someone posted a thread on this in april, however - with all the news coming out about wt child abuse coverups, the anonymous organization investigating the wt society , i felt it important to reveal some snippets of what the wt society instructed their elders regarding legal issues.
in one section it states, " when someone seeks confidential information : you should never reveal confidential information to anyone unless theocratic procedure requires it or the branch office has instructed you to do so.

Heaven, It is Obstruction of Justice in the US as well. These criminals got away with it. Had I done 10% of what these elders of Jehovah's Witnesses had/are doing, I would be sitting in the State Penitentiary today.
Another interesting point Mr.Flipper mentioned was about Watchtower Society's warning on not divulging information to any. Along with this BOE(Body of Elders) letter, a Circuit Overseer(we had his visiting in early May, pre-Candice Conti and Sandiago Watchtower pedophile settlement) warned congregation not to be inqusitive. In fact, 'being not to be inqusitive' is one of 7essential qualities for those who are facing Great Tribulation. Here's some of the points from my notes.
- Some of us can't bear not being in the know....What's going on..What it is..divulging informations..
- Electronic informations might be true or not. What motivate us to pass on the news from these source?
- Some even record the some meeting and turned into their own persecution[by whom? ]
- Less we know better we will be.
ON 'Do I trust Authority?'(it was also one of 7 points)
- There are malicious lie, misinformations about Body of Elders and the Governing Body(I thought it was interesting that a CO included BOE along with GB but he solved my curiosty on following statements)
- BOE are under the influence of Holy Spirit. What happened when BOE ask us to do something doesn't make any sense? Would you do it? YES!
- Are we naive, brain washed? NO![yes, a CO actually said it!]
- We trust our theocratic authority.
- Building our trust theocratic authority will save our lives!
Priceless! It's all about 'theocratic warfare.' They'd better wake up sooner or later.
