by unchained1963 ina member suggested this i am disassociated 3 years and divorced one with a life of hell marriage and brain washed but worn out fighting to get back that is nothing but a bunch of back stabbing people in that organization, brain washed and taught to divide familys, they want you in but not, its like football with them same type of plays.
i now have found people where i go that doesn't teach love the live this.
i had a abusive marriage, was wife of elder and 3 kids who lived hell because i was to follow the submission of a wife.

i am moms poa, and apostate, and she refuses to let me see the account or have access to these funds on the premise i will 'blow every dime' if she does.

There should be an Elderly abuse hotline. Contact them and the Police. Your sister is embezzling her mom's money. It's a crime unless your mom consented.
The JW couple who were her mom's POA was arrested for embezzlement for emptying their mom's bank account. It was on the paper and on TV news at the time. A non-JW daughter of an elderly reported it to the Police. The scumbag was an elder.
For an Attorney, contact Mr. Zalkin at 856-724-1001 or Davin Storey at 858-259-3011 for an advise and/or a referral. They are JWs abuse case experts in Sandiago, CA. They should be able to direct you to a right attorney in your area. Or you could google for an attorney who handles religious and/or elderly abuse or embezzlement.

I have a fellow feeling for you. I had gone through the same religious Inquistion followd by 2 and an half years of witch hunt. This was happening while I was still attending meetings. The stress level was beyond me. I felt Jehovah's protection when I was finally disfellowshipped. I was so relieved not being their target anymore. The only regret I have was that I didn.t get to tell them off, since I was still a true believer at the time.
Good for you letting your light shine before the evil slave and coming out publicly. You are taking your power back!

ecuador, Are you an investigator or a government agent? Were you told by the Watchtower Legal Department about Jehovah's Witnesses elders legal tie with its Headquator?
You don't have to answer the above questions. I think you know where I am going with it, if your answeres are "yes."
As everyone have clarified, Circuit Overseer(CO), District Overseer(DO), GB(Governing Body), Special Pioneer, and Bethelites are paid ministers. They are therefore direct representitives of the Watchtower Society. The Watchtower is liable for these indivisuals' church activites.
As far as concerning the JW elders, they are not paid ministers but are representing the Watchtower locally therefore the Watchtower is liable for them as well. The elders are appointed by and granted absolute authority over their local members from Watchtower leaders directly. The Watchtower Legal Department has mislead the Government agencies(in the USA) about local elders not being representives of the Watchtower Organization since they are non paid volunteer ministers. Such claim is designed to avoid legal liabilities and mislead the secular authorities.
A JW man was told by the Appeal Committee of Jehovah's Witnesses Judicial Hearing that he was guilty of talking against the Watchtower Organization by talking against Wathctower's appointed elder. This man was found guilty of talking against the Watchtower therefore and was disfellowshipped. Bottom line, JW elders=the Watchtower Organization. Don't let any Watchtower Organization's double tongue tell you otherwise.
As we all have learned from Candace Conti's case, the Watchtower is also liable for their Rank & File's actions for the damage caused to another members due to church policies.

I am from Far East who live in the USA. I have learned some differences in policy among Jehovah's Witnesses from different cultures.
Witnesses in my native Country, Asians, are more strict on procedure, more authoritative and tend to set rules for others instead of left to indivisual conscience. For instance, in my native Country, you are restricted eating foods that were offered to ritual(ie, ancestor worship) and practices of sterilization are banned. This was late 80's and early 90's. I was very confused upon learning the different JW policies on some of the core belief. Here in the US, these were/are the conscience matters(although the Watchtower has flip flop on sterilization).
Yes, I can picture Japanese authoritative elders arranging "probation seat" for df'ed ones. Llyod Berry was a head of Branch Committee in Japan for many years before becoming a member of Governing Body. I saw this Japanese influence from Berry in Crisis of Conscience and In Search of Christian Freedom.
I am df'ed and used to seat in the middle of front rows and stared at speakers throughout meetings. Not one elders have courage to eye contact with me for 2 years. They know they are loser and coward for what they did.

No, Jehovah's Witnesses are not hypocrites of any sort. Jehovah's Witnesses have no more "rules" than the Bible dictates, and follow two basic principles as outlined by Jesus: love of God and love of neighbor. said Fifth.
Shouldn't your love for God move you to give your exculsive devotion to God only? Jehovah's Witnesses have deified the Governing Body and Body of Elders above God and Jesus. Open your publications, song book and attend JW meetings. The GB and BOE worships are everywhere.
Shouldn't your love of neighbor move you to take care of your own at least?(1Timothy 5:3-8) I am a disfellowshipped ex-JW. Some of my weekly routines are taking an elderly JW woman for a grocery shoping and take her and her husband to doctor appointments. Besides check on them once or twice a week. The elderly couple has family and extended family in the local JW Congregation. Some of them are elders, ministerial servants. regular pioneers, and publishers. Unfortunitely non of their JW families are availble to take care their elderly mother, father, uncle, aunt, grandma, grandfa, and spiritual sister & brother in their needs of old age. It's a sad situation.

Watchtower did the same thing here. The Circuit Overseer interviewed 2 convicted child abusers as exemplary elders at the assembly and persecuted the victim, victim's family and those who aware of the conviction instead.
The $multi-million$ lawsuit awards might help adjust their thinking on that.
