A petition that really works! Change the law to bring the WTS to its knees!
by Diest ini know that most people on here dislike the idea of a petition, but i think i finally realized a petition that could really work.
in the candice conti case she was allowed to start a civil lawsuit that was way past the statute of limitations.
because california has changed the their civil statute of limitations in sexual abuse cases.. so how do petitions come in?

I've been enlightened.
by Emery inive been lurking for quite sometime and now feel the need to come and noob it up.
it's taken a lot to bring me to read anything critical of the wts.
i used to glance at these apostate sites and shutter in fear because of the obvious demonic venom that can be found :) i am still an active witness and have been in this struggle to stay both in and be removed mentally from this organization.

Complex PTSD and Ex JW's
by JRK ini have been diagnosed with complex ptsd by my therapist due to events of abandonment and abuse as a child.
the cult experience of being raised as one of jehovah's witness was a major factor.
i think that the sparlock video and the conti case has brought emotional flashbacks to some of us here, so i wanted to post information that i have found helpful.

anyone with a case against the wbts for child abuse that (1) hasn't gone past the statute of limitations, which is 21 years, (2) that the accused is not the child's parent or (3) anyone who's child has been abused within the last two years and nothing was done, to please contact him asap.

Well, NC, I understand about Americans and their paranoid level over food safety.
All I can say is that I have been eating raw fish all my life including mackeral(supposedely full of mercury) and I haven't had one incident of food poision from raw fish. The only 2 times I ever had food poision were from eating cooked turkey at the quick KH building and having steak at Texas Load House. Oh God, all of us JWs got so sick from turkey that some were hospitalized.
OP, I am sorry I don't think you will find seacucumber in the menu. You have to go to Korea or China for it.(I can be wrong but..)
Eva, Yes! Sea cucumber is best when it's alive and moving. (I am not kidding). Ok that's enough of sea cucumber.

I love everything that come out of water. I love sushi and sashimi(raw fish) of every kind.
I just made sushi yesterday. Salmon is my favor one to make mainly it's availibility. I love eel, squid, tuna, mackeral,......... I used to eat shark steak when I was young. I don't eat shark anymore tho.

by life is to short inon page 171 of the "learn from the great teacher" book published in 2003 it shows a picture of a very cute little girl holding a ragged ann doll.
she is sitting on a chair in her bedroom with her hand out toward a man that is coming toward her.. the paragraphs say "so just as jesus needed protection, you also need to be protected from grown-ups-and even from other children-who may try to have sex with you.
usually, these people will pretend to be your friends.

Hey, What you know? Guess what I found out!
case #1: A Jehovah's Witness father raped all his 5 daughters. He's been in the prison since mid 90's for the crimes. Reporter on this case was a mother of school friend of one of the daughters. A father was reinstated by the local elders a few years after his sentence while in the prison. The mother and daughters contested it to elders and were kicked out from their congregation. They moved in to my congregation afterward.
case #2: A son of Jehovah's Witness woman was baptized as a JW while serving his sentence. He was a convicted child molester. He was welcomed in to our congregation upon his releasing. His mother and elders concealed his identity. He got married a year later to a JW woman with a teenage daughter. He went bact to the prison shortly after for molesting his stepdaughter. It happened about 10 years ago.
case #3: A 18 year-old JW was convicted as a child molester. He eventuall become inactive several years ago but still in the area.
case #4: Another 18 year-old molested 3 young JWs girls(age from 13-14). His crime were covered up by local elders because of that he was never even arrested for his crimes. One of the victims parents who spoke out to elders about it got framed as a guilty of commiting contention and reviling elders and was disfellowshipped.
case #5: An older sister of #4 was also accused of molesting 3 year old daughter of JW several years prior to her brother's allegation. Congregation did nothing about it. An enraged father of little girl, a non-JW, obttained a 'restraining order' to make sure this woman won't be around his daughter at the meeting. Result? The mother was told to move another congregation with her child by her elders. Elders told her they aren't going do anything to the perpetrator(since no 2 witnesses on the case), let alone keep her from coming the kingdom Hall. So mother and child moved into our KH.
This is what I found out only after one of my own family become a victim of child sexual abuse first by a JW pedephile and then by the elders and Watchtower policies. I did some investigation and spoke in person with victims of all above 5 cases. Good thing I kept the all the documents and hand written evidences of these testomies. Who would believe these! This is all happened/are happening in JUST ONE congregation! Non of these were existed before I become aware of. Wake up people!
(In million years would I believed any of above cases. I would simply blame the accusations for 'apostes' lies' in effort to bring the Watchtower down. What evil injustice!)
