  James Woods, my JW best friend was born in Vietnam and escaped in 75 from the embassy. I think her father was working for the US Government. I would love meeting you and your wife.

  I've been a Texan for a couple of month now. I haven't run into any Texan ex-JWs yet. Anyone close to Denton or Wichita Falls? I live in Wichita Falls and will be visiting Denton this Friday and Saturday. There are some nice Korean restraurants in Carrollton. Anyone in the area like to meet me for a Korean lunch or dinner with me on Friday or a lunch on Saturday?

  i have a youtube channel and make videos from time to time.. i recieved a personal message today in which the person asked me for some information:.

  "i had an email from someone saying that after ww2, the jw's campaigned for and received financial compensation for the witnesses that died in the camps.

  and that the monies were not used for the victims families.

  1. my husband's time is finite, it's wasted on spouses arguing over money, sex or family mattters with stupid home visits.. .

  i hate people's constant open hand for money, it's the weak individuals asking others to pull their weight.

  my family worked extra hours instead of begging the strong members for district assembly money, cat food for seven cats or tiny little rag-a-muffins weiner dogs.. .

  our co gave the illustration about a jar filled with golf balls ,pebbles and sand ......it was suppose to illustrate how if we put theocratic things first other things like family and entertainment will fit .

  ...so they no long go to the book study...when was this eliminated

  The book study was eliminated in late 2008. So, yeah the Paranoid Watchtower Governing Body got rid of one of the five fingers just right that. They make things as they go.

  Actually they still have the book study just not at the private home. It's being done at the Kingdom Hall now. Just to make sure keep an eye on their members...nothing new just more controlling tactic.
