Hubby and Wifey saying Hi
by free and happy inso where do you start?.
i've been reading peoples experiences for several months now trying to figure out what i want to say but how do you put your whole life into a few words?.
i was a born in but have been happy and free for 5 years and luckily for me my husband felt the same way and we have freed our children from being brainwashed.

Great idea for the briefcase. Top class exit!
It made me think of an article I read recently and how it might have been great to pull off the same stunt with your briefcase.
Two artists sent a package to Wikileaks founder Julian Assange in an embassy and embedded it with a live webcam so they could trace the whole journey of the package.

Wouldn't it be neat for someone to do the same as you did, but embed a hidden live webcam in it and give us all the link on JWN so we can watch and hear the elders' reaction when they see the briefcase, and also see what happens to it all.

I finally told my parents
by nolongerconfused inso as some of you already may know, i have stopped going to meetings for good and have nothing to do with wbts anymore...did not write a letter of disassociation because i dont believe an organization should spiritually execute me for rejecting men's tradition and false doctrine...some of you may recall i spoke to my wife and are in good terms, even though she's still an active jw.
my parents are both active jw's...when i visited them yesterday, they clearly did not expect me to tell them i had left the "org"...to my huge surprise, after i explained to them i had found ttatt (truth about the truth) and gave compelling evidence of my reasoning, and using the scriptures, they totally sided with me...i was dumbfounded...one of my parents even brought up ray franz and his book coc....i was like wtf??.
they told me all of these years they never had the guts to say anything about the hypocrisy in this org and they were glad that i as their son was able to step up and believe what is right and what is on the bible...they re-assured their love to me and they were happy i had found happiness in jesus christ and the need to have a personal relationship with him and not through a man made organization.... i totally did not expect this response from my parents...but it just leaves me to think that there are thousands of active jw's out there feeling the same way and don't have the courage to step up to the org...still don't know what they are going to do, but i got the feeling they will do the same eventually and move on from the wbts.... have a great week everyone.

Don't get me wrong, I'm very, very happy for you, and would love to have my parents on board, but on the other hand aren't you even slightly ***** they never breathed a word to you and let you live a lie and waste your youth? Amid the joy and relief I would be fuming mad at them.
Congratulations all the same, I hope one day I will have the opportunity to write the same post.

Yes, I heard of a situation where people would come into a congregation and just disappear. Many of them. I guess that's what we would now call a faders' paradise!

I spoke up today
by hoser inthe fire was burning within me to say something so i mustered up the courage and did it.. .
we were for lunch after the meeting sitting at the same table as a pioneer sister, her unbaptized publisher bible study, and the bible study's teenage son.
the pioneer was telling the unbaptised publisher about how no one from sodom and gomorrah would get a resurrection because they were killed directly by god's judgment.. this is where i had heard enough.

Two Witnesses stuck in a elevator or car without Chaperon. Would they fornicate? Yes/No
by Witness 007 inim amazed how going witnessing sisters who knew me for decades would sit only in the back seat on the way to the hall...to avoid any sex at the traffic lights!!!
and chaperons 1840's style are needed because two witnesses alone for 10 minutes would go at it like animals even after all the training watchtower articles and talks being jahs clean org.

Fantasy "Forbidden Fruit" Ex-Witness Party

Oh yes! A great big gigantic communal birthday cake! With lots of candles (one each) and sparklers!
And why not go all out and make it a 3D Sparlock cake to celebrate all our birthdays (but not life-size as that wouldn't be very big)
