I just checked the online simplified version, and this doesn't shed any more light on the matter, except they left more of the picture on the right.

Very, very interesting Cobalt.
I got the pic from the online version of the mag. Didn't cut anything.
Here's the online version I just got off jw.org, which is the same as the version I got off there a few months ago too. I did a screen shot of your online version pictures next to the full page of my online version. You will see why it's physically impossible to cut the picture as you did and not have the rolled up trousers in there. Same in the second picture - you should see the tiger cub a bit or the girl's hand.
We also see more of Jesus' skirt in your version, and more of the right side of the picture.
I'm really wondering if jw.org produces more than one online version of the magazine...
Cobalt - would you mind putting up the whole page 11 for us to compare both online versions?

Flyinghighnow & ShirleyW - I really can't figure out why the graphics aren't showing up for you. I've just opened a photobucket account to see if I upload them from there you can see them. Up until now I've only ever copy pasted my pictures, and never had any problem. Please let me know if it works or not. I'll be posting them in a few minutes.
Ziddina - "other" is for those that don't classify themselves as anything I suggested, and gives them the possibility of writing their own answer. We've had seven "others" where people have specified : 2 Apatheists, 1 Born of the spirit into the body of Christ, 1 Not Bible God, 1 Universalist, 1 No more labels for me, 1 JW fader.

I can't stop as I have schoolwork to finish for tomorrow, but just wanted to thank you for the most recent additions to the survey.
I'm not sure why the results didn't show up - they are in .jpg format, and each one is between 30 and 60kB. I've tried this page on Firefox, Chrome and Opera and the results show up each time. They even show up on the tablet which often doesn't load the images on JWN. I will look into it and try to get back to you tomorrow if I can.
Oh, and we're now on 65 replies...great job!

Saying that, WT pubs can and do make unexplainable yet discreet changes to their artwork (see thread on changes in bt book this week). Maybe there is already an updated version of the Sept 15, 2012 WT, hence all the 'seeing rolled up trousers' in the pictures!

I was wondering what's with the rolled up trousers behind his head that Cobalt managed somehow to cut out in her rendition but Irondork left in...even if it's clear in the original magazine, it does look really funny here!
