Single Pretty Girls that are JWs, have so much potential, but sadly........

the pandemic has made the situation worse for single young jw girls.. i'm hearing tons of sad stories of single jw girls who are going, or have gone into deep depression.

with many having thoughts of committing suicide and hoping for a better life in the new order.. the pandemic has made it almost impossible for young jw girls to find a suitable marriage mate.

especially since the single jw boys-men want young, gorgeous, thin, virgins, who look like models and summit to the headship arrangement.

The problem is that Zoom connection details are per congregation and you cannot just waltz into the meeting of another congregation. You can contact an elder and ask if there are any hotties in his congregation and if he will be willing to share the Zoom details. You will be considered a "horny non spritual brother (arse hole)" whose only goal is to find a mating poor innocent virgin christian sister.

Back in the day, any single brother who goes from one congregation/circuit to another looking for a soul mate is often judge as not spiritual. How is Zoom hopping going to be any different? The GB is really clueless

What’s Your View On Self Defense?

if someone comes to you with a knife or a gun, would you defend yourself if you could?

if someone tried to beat you up , would you physically engage, run away or just try to talk the person out of beating you up or robbing you?

if you did have a gun to defend yourself would you shoot to kill or would you simply aim for the ankle to incapacitate the person?

The cult does not care if its members are killed they would rather see you and your family dead than a news headline that that says JW kills intruder. They are such a bunch of assholes.

That is an interesting letter from the org. You need to remember that the org has a public image of non-violence. They say it is a personal matter but then they judge and say you are not spiritually matured. screenshot from WT July 2017 below

Apparently there is a new article from the GB about the dangers of online/app dating. Now they are encouraging single JWs to use Zoom break out session to find a potential partner. I think there must be a lot of fornicating -> disfellowship/reproving going on with people not having physical interactions (pressure) from the congregation.

They are in damage control and trying to limit single JWs from being unevenly yoked with unbelievers. In the good old days, where do you go to meeting young spiritual(pretty) sisters? At the assemblies and conventions where you volunteer to help your fellow worshippers.

Zoom just will not cut it and the pandemic is really showing the weak side of the GB policy. The chances of people falling off the wagon is greater once they are cut of from the constant indoctrination

what is the craziest thing you heard a witness say was demonized, and what did they do about it?.

They received gift from a non JW family member. They started to feel the presence of demons and they seek help from elders. They threw the gift away but the demons still harrased them. They prayed and put on kingdom melodies and that helped chase the demons away

If you can run, that will be the best option. Even if you have a gun and you shoot the assailant, taking another human life can also cause side effects like PTSD, similar to what happened to soldiers.

If the idiot is trying to kill you, then, I would rather kill than be killed.

Covid / India

its been strangely quiet on here lately about covid..or isnt it news any more.

the " not a pandemic" brigade have been noticably absent about the situation in india..

There’s a pandemic by definition, but it’s hardly the life-ending plague it was predicted to be. It sucks that people die, but people die every year, especially from preventable diseases and no one is bitching about that last time I checked.

There is definitely an element of propaganda and mis-information. You need to remember that any time a new disease raises its ugly face, there is always fear mongering and misinformation. When HIV-AIDS made the news, there was a lot of fear mongering as well. That said, saying that Corvid19 "it’s hardly the life-ending plague it was predicted to be" is a little disingenuous if you only take a single data point to make your point (death toll).

A lot of experts were not sure about the full impact of Corvid19 in the beginning and what they could go by was data from previous pandemic that cost millions of lives. Thanks to modern medicine and new media (mass communication), most government were able to stem the flow of what could have been a more deadly outcome.
