The Patriarchy Paradox

he made it as a study aid with the idea being that it would stimulate debate.. eton superiors told him to remove it from the lessons, which the teacher did.

they then told him to remove it from his personal youtube account, which he refused.

Zoom Social Event With a GB Member (Losche)

in a recent turn of events, i found myself at a jw social gathering on zoom (supporting my pimi wife, while among mostly jws whom i don't know and a handful of old friends who don't know i'm inactive) that just so happened to also be joined by garrett losche and his wife.

sorry to disappoint but i had absolutely no interaction with him and have nothing interesting to report about it.

i'm just sharing this because i can't believe i even got that close to maybe chatting with him, despite being a closeted apostate.. there were about 300 people in the zoom meeting, all having been directly invited.

f you were working at Bethel and you knew there was a GB position to be filled , I'm sure there would be more than a few that would strive to get that position knowing all of the engaging perks, knowing you could live a well cared for life without money being an issue and have a place to permanently live.

That is true, I am just saying it is not all plain sailing and being a GB member will likely have its downside.

Nice gig if you can get it, particularly for men who are elderly.

Very few people will want the hassle of being a member of the GB and always trying to be the spiritual giant in the room. It gets really tiring and boring after a while. The same reasons celebrities hate signing autographs and taking selfies after a while. It stops being fun! There is a reason why bethelites in general drink a lot.

Covid 19 True Infection Rate / Proof of Misinformation

this is interesting.. you've probably heard of "asymptomatic spread" which is, people who are infected with the virus and are spreading it, but who have no symptoms.. but is it accurate?

is it supported by the statistics?.

this video analyses the facts and concludes that we've been given misinformation due to faulty testing.

this is interesting but unfortunately not very useful as he didn't go into what could have been reasonably done by the government. Testing people multiple times to confirm if they are truey positive is likely not feasible due to the large amount of people. The government spinning the 1 in 3 data is at worst fear mongering and at best erring on the side of caution.

During WW2, X million died, but not all of them died in the battle field. Some died due to consequences of the war like malnutrition, lack of adequate medical car, depression etc. These deaths are still attributed to the war. A lot of those who died due to Corvid19 probably didn't even get the virus but the pandemic indirectly contributed to their death.

Now, there is nothing stopping the government from spinning the deaths to make the Corvid situation more dire.

Single Pretty Girls that are JWs, have so much potential, but sadly........

the pandemic has made the situation worse for single young jw girls.. i'm hearing tons of sad stories of single jw girls who are going, or have gone into deep depression.

with many having thoughts of committing suicide and hoping for a better life in the new order.. the pandemic has made it almost impossible for young jw girls to find a suitable marriage mate.

especially since the single jw boys-men want young, gorgeous, thin, virgins, who look like models and summit to the headship arrangement.

Then GB said hand job, blow job, God's loophole is part of the new amplified fornication (porneia), guess what? Rank and file just kept at it and wait for the Holy Ghost to reveal it (don't tell, don't ask).

GB said don't polish the knob. Rank and file figured that it is not a disfellowshiping offense so all bets are off and a lot of Onanism going on.

the " not a pandemic" brigade have been noticably absent about the situation in india..

Religion is not often about intelligence or being smart. The human personality is a spectrum and it can choose to go in any direction that is convenient. You can be a Nasa scientist and still leave you brain at home when you go to church or the KH because you are in the presence of a greater being.

Most JW don't understand their teachings for the simple reason that when you start to question things that do not make sense, you are told to leave it in Jah's hand. After a while, you just go with the flow because it is easier to be at the same intellectual level as those in your social group.

Derek Chauvin - The Right to a Fair Trial

anyone following the derek chauvin trial?.

if you are actually following it, not just listening to the media, you will likely realize that there is a huge gap between what is going on in court and what is being reported in the media.. if the trial was fair, i think he should be acquitted.

there is plenty of reasonable doubt about the cause of death (his dealer doesn't want to testify because he could be guilty of 3rd degree murder for selling him a fatal amount of fentanyl) and even doubt over whether the officer even had his knee on the guys neck or did anything counter to what they were meant to do as per policy.. but is it fair?

This is nothing new. This has been baked into the judicial system since the onset. It is an illusion to think that a highly politicized case will get a normal day in court.

There is a reason why rich people tend to get away with so much and when you are poor and can't afford a good defense, you are screwed.

Why didn't those responsible for the 20008/2009 financial crisis go to prison?
