"DO NOT look here! Seriously...just dont!"
by stuckinarut2 inok, so you all looked here??.
this thread is prompted by losch's stupid 'decrees' in the march 2018 broadcast, where he denounced online information that may be 'negative' about the organization.. it strikes me that the gb are so dumb!
the moment someone says "dont look at something", human curiousity will make most people look.

Today's WT Paragraph 4
by Slidin Fast ini thought that this little gem deserved a thread of it's own.. 4. why is it important for us to be present at the memorial if at all possible?.
4 reflect on the importance of attending the memorial.
remember, congregation meetings are part of our worship.

All that despite the fact that no where in the NT is the Lord's Evening Meal described as:
A yearly occasion, or the most important meeting,
Nor is any Christian meeting described that way.
Romans 14:5, in fact, says quite the opposite. And Galatians 4:10-11 decries the setting up of "seasons" such as a "memorial season."

Memorial Invitation 2018 : Subliminal Message ?
by jwdoctrine inhttp://jwdoctrine.com/memorial-invitation-2018-demonic-subliminal/.
memorial invitation : subliminal message.
at first glance, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the invitation but on closer look a disturbing detail becomes apparent.it is in the upper right corner of the illustration of jesus christ celebrating the last supper with his disciples in the upper room...there seem to be trees outside the window but on closer inspection, all thanks to the pdf format of the invitation that allows you a very close look down to the fine detail, these are not trees but letters!!!.

The WT believes that Judas had already left before Jesus passed the bread and wine. I'm not saying he did, but the WT is emphatic about that. So the man below the tree branches is probably not intended by the illustrators to be Judas.

by Freedom rocks inhi please can someone explain this in laymans terms for me coz i be ever got it as a jw and still don't.
it doesn't make sense to me.
bible chronology indicates that god’s kingdom was established in heaven in 1914. this is shown by a prophecy recorded in chapter 4 of the bible book of daniel.. overview of the prophecy.

A Question of Adultery
by snugglebunny inquestion: if a jw married lady is accused of adultery and a judicial committee is formed to investigate the matter, is the lady's jw husband also invited to attend as the possibly injured party?.

Just a technical note: A JC would not be formed to investigate whether someone committed adultery (or anything else for that matter). Normally two elders would be assigned to investigate an accusation. If they find evidence of serious sin they would inform the BOE and a JC would be formed to determine if there is sufficient evidence of repentance. The JC would assume guilt unless something came up during the JC meeting. The KS book says "accused" for CYA reasons.

the us constitution wasn't written for 50 states either.

Zeb, the Russian scholar is Igor Panarin. Google him. Wikipedia has an article that explains his thinking. The Kremlin was interested enough to hear him out. If I remember correctly, he was worried that a US break up might go bad for the world at large, depending on how it occurred.

So you're worried about the Big A, or the North Korean bombs? Sorry everyone, Japan is the one that has likely screwed us all.
by fulltimestudent inheard much lately, about the fukushima nuclear disaster in japan?.
that is until earlier today when i found this article from last year, with dr. helen caldicott discussing the chernobyl disaster and fukushima.
she believes fukushima is uncontrollable and there is absolutely nothing anyone can do about it.. read the article: .

Some of the depleted uranium problem in the middle East is from the shells used in the A-10 armor busting plane the USAF uses. A friend of mine who flew UH-60s in the first gulf war said the plane was so fearsome to Iraqi tank crews that they would abandon their tanks as soon as the A-10s showed up.
The shells get pulverized when used and now litter that part of the middle east.
