For a few years after falling away, I would still go to the Memorial out of respect for Christ, until I actualy looked at John chapter 6 and what it actualy states from Jesus own lips.
So since then, I hold my own memorial where I eat and drink the emblems, not because Iam annointed, because it states everybody must else they will not get everlasting life.
I now feel somewhat guilty of all the times I said no to Jesus sacrifice, I have read that its a Satanic ritual to refuse the emblems.

now matthew 24 was written about the end times, which i do belive we are fast approaching, (as opposed to 100 years ago), at verse 48 we read of a religion that isnt a false religion for it has been classed as a slave of the "master" who is jesus.. now this evil slave has two identifying features i wish to ponder, it considers jesus arrival to be late, this implies a religion that has set an expectation of jesus arrival at a certain time for said non-arrival to be considered delayed.. it also beats its fellow slaves or religious brothers as a result of this delay.. .
the first point, which christian religions have been waiting for the masters arrival for such a long time that they now consider him delayed, obviously delayed from the time they where expecting him.. .
having read crisis of conscience and read accounts of annointed who have been disfellowshipped or beaten by thier fellow slaves in the organisation, and especially over the 1914 doctrine which ties the being beaten to the delay.. can you think of any other christian religion that fullfils the criteria for evil slave more than the watchtower society?.
Another thing, Jesus doesnt say, "Who is the Faithfull and Discreet Slave", he says, "Who really is the Faithfull and Discreet Slave", might this possibly suggest that he knew a religion would claim such a position falsely?

before i express my opinion to the readers and contributors to this website (www.ex-jw.com), i would like to explain who i am and to present my bona fides as someone qualified to comment on this website and jehovah's witnesses in general.. first of all, i am an active jehovah's witness living just outside of new york city.
being a large metropolis, new york has many kingdom halls located within the city and several more in surrounding boroughs, counties, and suburbs.
Yes I know poopsiecakes, and thankyou I consule myself with Jesus instruction that you have to be like a child to get into his kingdom.

in all sincerity i do not mean any disrespect to any beleivers in the god of the bible, but this is a truly remarkable age with communication advances incomparable with 2000 years ago , if the creator or jesus christ were truly interested in giving everybody the chance of everlasting life , wouldn`t they be giving people the opportunity to hear a more current up to date warning now ?
and not relying on messages in languages that are not in use today and are subject to so many different interpretations ?.
"Second Test", yes I had forgotten that JW doctrine Tammy, I wonder what scripture they use to back that up with, maybe they where hoping to get us to keep reading the Watchtower for another 1000 yearsfor fear we might otherwise fail the test.

Another thing I dont agree with thats related, the JWs say the resurrection occurs throughout the 1000 years and JWs teach them the "truth", yet when I read Revelation 20 it lists the resurrection occuring after the 1000 years have ended!. Now Jws will teach that Jesus got the order of things wrong when he reaveled the Revelation, but Revelation 20 says when the dead come out of the sea, death and Hades, that they are judged according to what is written about them in the book and those not written in the book of life go straight to the second death, it doesnt say anything about the dead being brought back to life and failing some test.
Likewise ! Cor 15 says Jesus reigns until all enemies are destroyed, the last enemy being death, this implies people will still be dying, not being destroyed for death is described as an enemy whereas destruction is an action of God, so yes, people still dying during the 1000 reign, which mayvbe fits in better with Isaiah 65 where I feel its saying, people will indeed live a lot longer, somebody dying at 100 being cnsidered a mere child, but still dying nontheless. Then at the end of the 1000 years, when death is finally destroyed, thats when the dead, both pre, and during Christs reign are resurrected, to eternal life or the second death.
And then will be no more Death, after the 1000 years, not beforew, thats what it says in Rev 21 when the New Heavens and Earth come, "No more Death"!

Unless God cut those days short, no flesh would be saved. (Or something like that I seem to remember a scripture saying).
If it is God thats doing all this killing, does he have to hold himself back or something in case he kills everybody?
I wonder if a lot of the killing thats done leading up to Christs reign, isnt actually God himself doing it, but the works of Man under the Devils direction towards the etablishment of, and as a result of, his New World Order with its 42 month reign?
Now, I wonder if Tammy is thinking along these lines that another ex Sister woke me up too, is there going to be two Armageddons? the one at the beginning of the thousand years that the JWs use, and another one at the end? For there will be one at the end, when the Devil gathers all the nations of the earth to come up against the Holy City, I think a lot of those scriptures quoted here are refering to the end of the 1000 years, not the beginning, and why shouldnt God protect his people from those who wish to destroy them? We expect our own leaders to protect us in this way.
I dont think there is going to be a soon to come Armeggedon, I think a lot of poeple will die soon, as a result of the tribulations and the sort of plagues of Revelation that God also visited on the Eygptions, but didnt totally annialate them, but it wont be a total destruction of most of the worlds population at Gods hand.
As an aside, I dont think only Gods people survive the beginning of Jesus reign, I think, just as Moses did, Jesus is going to lead his people into Jerusalem, the survivers of the ungodly will still remain on Earth and as seperate nations, except they wont have Satan leading them, that these Nations will witness for themselves how better off Gods people will be, just as occurred with the Israelites, and that the people gnashing thier teeth outside, wont be figurative, but literal, and at the end of the 1000 years, these nations will be stirred up by Satan to attack Gods people, it wont be a load of resurrected JWs that go bad at the end of the 1000 years that never made sense to me, it will be the same ungodly that we have now, but with Gods people in there midst just like the earlier pattern.

Whilst a lot of what the Watchtower teaches is plainly wrong, at the same time, can somebody point me to another religion that is not even more wrong?
Iam in the position where I would Love to attend a church that teaches truth, for the same reasons I originally joined the JWs, that hasnt changed, I would go back to the JWs because I think most of them are about the nicest people you can meet, thats probably why half of them are still in it.
I would go back to the JWs except that they wouldnt have me because I reject some of them self exaulting doctrines so I would have to lie which Iam not going to do.
So I find life quite lonely, as a Christian with no "Truth" to go to.
Maybe when Jesus really does come, he will chose the JWs, but only after "cleansing the house of God" first.
I do agree with a lot of what this person is saying, seems to me like the basis for a good religion thats been hi-jacked by an evil slave who disfellowships any of the annointed who might well be being lead by Gods Spirit, but because it doesnt harmonise with thier doctrines of men, the real new light gets thrown out along with the Prophet that brought it, maybe its along the lines of apostate Israel when they where Gods people but killed the prophets God sent.
My point being, I wish God would save this religion and bring 100% proof to it, there are a lot of people I really Love still in it and that work hard, I was brought to a knowledge and relationship of God through thier hard work, so though they have many errors and Idolatrous opinions of themselves, they have good points as well, I would like to see them all brought to a true Spiritual Paradise.
I do fear though that when the real Two Witnesses arrive and do restore true worship, a lot of those witnesses are going to do the very same thing the Jews did, which is to worship thier religion rather than God and I would rather than not happen to a single one of them.
So I think this fellow is trying to do some good.

and things are within a week or two of being d.a.ed/d.f.ed, and my jw best friend sent me an email to check how i was doing.
i was fairly sure that he was very much on the edge of leaving to, or at least that he didn't believe it for a long time.
so i sent him an email in reply and told him basically everything i believed and the reasons i knew jws are not the true religion, and i also told him i was leaving.
I would say the reason there is peace and good behaviour in the JWs is that its made up of people who want peace, they want God and his kingdom etc, thats why they are there!
The fact that maybe the Devil comes along and snatches up good people with one of his many religions doesnt then make that religion itself good, its just that the bad religion is full of good people.
