Why you CAN'T make sense of it.
by baltar447 ingoing through an dealing with a mentally ill spouse (living hell, long story, pm me if you want details), and talking to others who have dealt with the mentally ill, i've come to an epiphany.. you cannot make sense of "crazy".
that's why, when you get out of the wt, get out of the mind control, and try to reason with your loved ones or friends, it will not work.
we are dealing with people under mind control and i believe that is a close cousin of mental illness.

i agree completely. many of my family members in the cult are going mad. i have a crazy bipolar mother, a suicidally depressesd aunt in the mental hospital right now and another extended family member who went bat shit nuts while serving as an elder. they dfd him while he was in bipolar mania. some loving group they are.

its common knowledge to long time witnesses that jws will violate customer privacy laws and rules when they see something a customer does or buys that they think jw congregation elders should know about .

The Bible and Masturbation...4000 years of inspired input and no scriptures about it ?
by smiddy inmy philosophy when i was a teenager :"those who admit to it are stupid ,those who deny it are liars" that was my response to peers who posed such a subject when i was a teen .now, being a mature aged person i think this subject could do with a bit more enlightened content.. i am a male so i can`t speak for the females ,who, i hope will give their input on this topic for discussion.and i mean it as a serious discussion.. males experience erections from the time they are babies and the natural thing to do is to hold it , and before you know it fondling it gives you releif.. society doesnt help by making you feel guilty and like shit as a dirty person.why in the world do babes ,young children ,young boys get erections before they even know what it`s function is for.
if a god designed sex for procreation then surely this wouldnt become an issue until they reached the age of puberty ,not when a male is still a baby.. and getting back to my op nowhere in the bible does it talk about masturbation which surely has been going on since adam was a boy/man.. i`m sorry, but to deny that you would have to be a complete idiot ,imbecile ,fool ,or just brain dead.. so for 4000 years of inspired scriptures from god ,nothing is said about a condition that effects every man from his birth to his death .. makes you wonder doesn`t it ?.

I also remember being suicidal over the info the gb put out too. i was too imbarrassed and afraid of punishment to ask for help. I even asked god to make me asexual so i wouldnt have to sin against him. For a long time i had a sick love hate thing about pretty girls that made me resent them for giving me sexual feelings. as a result i was severly inept with the opposite sex for many years.

the bibleteach book was careful in every way to appear benign without insider language because it was and is on the front lines of the public. THe insider language would read like creepy cult speak to those on the outside. can u imagine what would happen if the started handing out the study editions to the public.

If they have to write an annual letter saying "nobody is forcing you to do anything, you are totally doing all of this of your own free will" then clearly they are forcing you to do things. It's like a waitress bringing your plate to the table and the first thing she says (with a smile) is that nobody spit in your food. Then why are you even bringing it up?? If you have to specifically state "The elders we put in charge aren't trying to control you, they are just 'helping' you do god's will" then they are in fact controlling you. Otherwise it wouldn't even be an issue for discussion. This reads like cult propaganda. - JonathonH

Wait a damn minute!!??? That is exactly what you are doing. I felt like i had been lobotimized by the end of those DCs. I kept hoping for something intellectualy stimulating but instead got education bashing from some country bumkin with an 8th grade education saying jehovahs education is the best. Barf!!!!
