i wanted to personally thank simon for all his hard work in keeping this board running, for the better part of six years.
it's not easy keeping track of thousands of members, dealing with their complaints etc, but he's done it.. i know a few old timer's have left, but many more have joined, some of them who held or are holding prestigious positions in the society.. we need this board for the sake of us, newbies and the lurkers.. does it matter if new jw boards appear?
to quote a favorite wt phrase, "not at all!
I concur!!

i'm thrilled to tell you about the latest court decision made in california a few days ago which kimberlee norris said would be announced today, monday, on jwd.. on july 3rd, i started a thread where the last two rulings in the napa county, california lawsuit, charissa w. v. watchtower, new york, et al., were posted.
both decisions were favorable to the plaintiff.

i was driving to my scuba dive site and listening to the radio this morning, it was around 7 - 7.30. a feature on jehovah's witnesses came on highlighting recent developments and 'internal debates' on the blood transfusion issue.
kerry louderback-wood was interviewed and came across very well, very professional.
ajwrb also got a positive mention.. the whole feature was only perhaps 5 or 6 minutes but it was excellent.
What has happened to JR Brown? Could it be that he is on a "sabbatical" after the recent mess he got himself into with the telephone interview with LDH? Shouldn't he have given the "official" response as the Society's PR man? They MUST be really worried in Brooklyn!
i was told by a reliable source that the organization will be making a "big announcement" at the end of the summer when all the dcs have ended.
has anyone else heard this?
maybe this is the "new light" they have alluded to in recent wt study articles?
We have already been informed about Kingdom News #37 and the autumn campaign by a BOE letter. I don't think this is the news.
The final talk on Sunday did mention that they were planning on having 3 day DCs next year.
I'm speculating that it will have to do with some sort of organizational change or maybe even a doctrinal change.
Blondie, I thought the same thing about the DCs not being completely over until Jan ' 07 as the southern hemisphere concludes their series. Maybe my source meant to say the announcement will come after those DCs.

JH- What a gruesome picture! Do you recall in which book it appeared?

even if the watchtower survives recent legal reverses unscathed, i still find it likely that they will react in some fashion, to further protect.
the question is how?.
whatever they do, they need to distance themselves from the congregations.
