Farewell
by WITNESS-FOR-WATCHTOWER-REFORM indue to unforeseen circumstances, i need to say goodbye.
proverbs 14:16 nlt.
i have every faith that the governing body of jehovah's witnesses will bring about needed change very soon given the continuous pressure they face.

"Justice will prevail! Amos 5:24 NKJV"
Yes it will... and this wolf in sheeps clothing of a religion will get what's coming to it either through legislation, litigation or people simply finding out the truth about it and leaving. In the end, justice will delete this 'religion' and our families will be free to live their lives once again.

by notalone inso,we joined a cosplay group.today, we all dressed like pirates and raided the krispy kreme and long john silvers.

everyone is so nice and it's so much fun.we are able to support many different charities.we have also been able to redefine the words 'meeting' and 'convention'.

After 52 years a Watchtower slave 9/11 gave me the push I needed to get out.
by new boy ini turned in my letter of disassociation on september 18, 2001 but it was 9/11 that showed me what the witnesses really feel about human lives and the future wished for.. i was in limbo after my wife of 27 years left me on july 30, 2001. she knew i wasn't buying the jw program anymore.
she told me she come back to me when "i got my head straighten out about god and the church".. so for 40 days i was in limbo.
i stopped going to meetings.

I was standing in the home of an elder along with a group of us who had taken a break from 'service' when the television in the livingroom began broadcasting live the tragedy at Waco when our government in their wisdom decided to attack their religious group at their compound. This 'elder' and the others stood around the set laughing and giggling about how 'jah uses ceasar to kill an enemy'. I was in shock and simply said, "We are watching women and little children burned alive. How are you laughing? This makes me ill... and angry."
Every person in that room went dead silent and stared at me, then the set, then Phil gets up, turns off the set, and everyone silently goes back to their car group. That was one of the last times I engaged in 'field service' or whatever they call it these days.
@Wayward - It will always amazes me how religion can make people separate themselves into two people; the kind hearted loving family members, and the evil insane people who just want to see the world burn in the name of their god.

I need more faith so I've been told
by hoser ini attended the circus assembly last weekend and i have come to the conclusion i am lacking faith.
the opening talk on the program, the very first words that came out of the speakers mouth told me so.
he said most of us here are lacking faith even though we might not know it.

it's their way of blaming the victim in order to shed their responsibility for the crime. similar to a rapist blaming the victim because of their attire or an abusive spouse blaming their partners black eyes on a late dinner... when someone in the cong goes missing, it's not the fault of the WT and the lies they've told, it's the fault of the missing having found them out because they didn't just blindly follow orders. way lame...

JW women true value
by Chook inwhen they sent out internal letter to elders regarding the binding of elders book , worldly men could do the job but only under supervision of a elder.
but under no circumstance could a sister touch the book.
the idiots put it in print, any elders wives on this forum should take it up with their man.

Are quality restaurants even slightly aware of the concept..
by The Rebel inof providing high quality food?.
personally i prefer the small restaurants with a owner who cooks the food.
often the food is equally imaginative and just as tasty as the more expensive restaurant.

Cooking at home is becoming a thing of the past. Fast food is getting cheaper and cheaper while groceries are subject to runaway inflation. Ten years ago, I could shop for groceries to feed our family of three for about 35-40 per week. That was three meals a day for three people for seven days and included snacks and drinks and basic grocery store stuffs like laundry, dish and personal soaps, shampoo & conditioner and pet foods/litter. Last week, getting all generic stuffs, and shopping for only two people, my total was 75. It's insane.

they likely don't care about the 'worldly binders' since they know if these 'worldly' men should peek into the books contents they'll die of laughter. jw women, on the other hand, would likely take it seriously and mutiny...
you know... i'd PAY to see that happen. XD
