When you Go to Bethel, You Sign Over Your Dead Body.
by new boy inthis is in response to the thread about the supposed suicide of a bethelite in 1995.. when i went to bethel i and everyone else, signed a form stating that "if we died while at bethel the wathtower bible and tract society, had the right to keep our body.".
yes, we thought it strange at the time but as a twenty years old you didn't think much about stuff like that.
besides we were never going to die anyway.

Im sick of my life
by BlackWolf insorry but i really feel like i need to rant right now.
recently my dad was made an elder so my family has been doing a lot more "theocratic" activities lately.
every morning i wake up and put on my itchy dress and stupid makeup and heels and then pretend that i love what i'm doing and that everybody is my friend when in reality i feel horrible and all the other teenage girls at my hall hate me for some reason.

As for baptism just say that you will not get baptized because you fear being disfellowshipped. Then ask them point blank if you were disfellowhipped would they stay in contact with you and talk to you....if they say no....then you say no to baptism because you value your relationship with them so you aren't ready for baptism.
The young people ask book says that youth that marry under the age of 25 most likely divorce. So, baptism is an even more important step that should not be rushed. Also, don't mind that example they use about the fear of getting a drivers license doesn't scare you.
Maybe you can get a part time job and make friends there. If your parents ask why say you want to give a little more monetary donations to the world wide fund.
And
DO NOT GET BAPTIZED!!!!!!
Flip the script and say that when people pressure you to do things it makes me not want to do it at all like ever. That should scare them and make them back up some.

I must admit when I read your goodbye post a few years back I was floored. Mainly because it was out of the blue. You do not owe an explanation but I had wished that you stuck around and said what convinced you they had the truth or at least replied to a few comments before completely cutting us off. I often wondered if that post caused any others to return to the organization.
Anyways, I thought about you from time to time. Glad you're back!!!

Muslims vs. JWs as friends
by Driving Force inthis is not meant to be a controversial discussion, but just mentioning what has happened to my daughter.. i personally started my fade early this year 2015, it has resulted in my losing all my so called jw friends and the brake-up of my marriage.
when i split up with my wife, she asked our daughter who she would like to live with, my daughter decided to live with me, and also abandoned the cult.. recently my daughter told me that she is very disappointed with the congregation of jehovah's witnesses because she thought she had friends there, but now she has realized that it was all conditional, not a single one of them has even remotely tried to keep contact with my daughter, she is 15, not baptized and never a publisher.. now yesterday she met up with a jehovah's witness friend who is in another congregation.
this friend is also 15, baptized since she was 14, a very dominant elder father, and has virtually no association outside jw circles, and also internet access is banned at home.

It is more common to find a Muslim that exercises independent thinking, than in the JW community. Thank G-d, the watchtower hasn't turned the witnesses into terrorists- yet. -

So basicly, Jehovah sends witnesses out to preach but if Jehovah kills them during the Big A it isn't his fought but the JWs! Lol lmao so can we conclude that Armageddon will happen because Jehovah's witnesses did poorly in field service and did not do enough preaching to save lives.
Jehovah says to his "JWcult" YOU MADE ME KILL EM!

My feet were always sore! :( I actually didn't mind if dogs attacked, at least I'd get out of service. Also, I felt like I was the one persecuting people by preaching to them early in the morning. -

i love celebrating holidays now... even though all my family wont be there:( hoping one day they will see the "light.

For the Supporters of Those Who Love Jehovah
by lovesjehovah ini am jehovah's witness, despite some of the questionable teachings, crimes, and other outlandish behaviors of specific people affiliated with the religion.
i know that my relationship with jehovah is not influenced by any outside factors.
i do not condone any crime.

You're what witnesses call bad association! You can't partake of Jehovah's table and the table of demons. You are lukewarm and Jehovah will spit you out! Take your stand for Jehovah today. You're doing too ,much independent thinking and that's going to be your down fall! Just follow the faithful slave. The end is sooooo close..like tomorrow or the day after tomorrow type of close!
Holy spirit keeps the congregation clean and will bring your bad behavior to the attention of the brothers and they will deal with you! BOY oh Boy, how I love Jehovah for keeping his congregation clean! :-)

Just say you have a co worker or relative, old friend- that is disfellowshipped and talk on about how hard it is to shun someone you respect/love. Then ask them what would they do in that situation. If they say , they'd uphold the loving provision of shunning to please Jehova then you have your answer. But if they say hmmm it is hard to say , that means there's hope!
