  What is the ONE consistent fact we can state about Jehovah's Witness teaching and Doctrine?

  until the scientific method came along, your guess was as good as mine.. science differed from opinion by qualifying hypothesis with testing and something called falsifiability.. what was it?.

  you have to find a way to state a scientific theory by making it disprovable!.

  if you have the theory "all swans are white" it is testable and disprovable how?.

  They're quick to change their minds, when necessary or told to do so.

  They've always been consistent with the doctrine- the end is right around the corner!!

  you can learn phrases such as: in 1914, a war broke out in heaven, satan and his demons were casted to earth and armageddon will happen soon!

  in addition, you can learn useful phrases to use at the meetings in your target language.

  We should all take advantage of this provision. Should we not? You never know, you may be stuck in a basement during the Great Tribulation with a bro/sis who doesn't speak your language.

  Learn how to say Apostate in 18 languages; more languages will be added in the future. Praise Jah!

  I am sooo screwed

  so last night i was talking to my sister about how i admired president obama's speech to the u.n that happened earlier that day.. i then compared the extremism of isis to how much of a fanatic my jw bil is.. at the end of the statement , my mom walked in to the kitchen.

  she was standing in the living room and she heard everything i said.. she called the elders that night to tell them what i said so they can counsel me.. i'm going to meet with them after the meeting on sunday!.

  what do i do?!!!!!.

  Just deny say she must have misunderstood, as she was eavesdropping! Say that you were discussing how worldly people compare Jehovah's people to isis because of trying to convert people.

  remember how we were told to engage people on the street, that standing and holding the magazines was not countable time?

  those days are gone.

  they have been reduced to the status of those guys on the street who hold huge "little ceaser" pizza signs and "homes for sale".

  If this were a picture in the watchtower study, the guy on the right definitely would be dubbed an apostate. A potential comment at the meeting would be about how cold the world is outside of Jehovah's organisation.

  i was deeply unhappy with the congregation and decided to educate myself, and boy what an education i have gotten so far.
