Did anyone see the episode where it took Lucy and Ethel like 4 hours to change a flat tire? When they finally finished they realized they accidentally put the same flat tire on

Life after DF/divorce
by Freeof1914 ini am just wondering how many here have gone through the experience of being disfellowshipped and divorced?
i am currently in that situation and sometimes i am afraid of what to expect.
thankfully i have a good core of friends, but nonetheless i still find myself somewhat nervous of what to expect in my new life.

What used to worry you the most about the great trib and Armageddon?
by Julia Orwell ini worried most about losing my dear family, but i also had silly worries like, what would happen to my pets?
say i didn't have a chance to let the cats out, they would starve inside my house.
and what if people were so starving because of the big gt famine and stole my chickens!

I remember in the early 1980's, an elder told my mom that she had to learn to get along better with a certain person who she was always squabbling with because "you never know who you might have to go into hiding with when the great persecution/great tribulation comes"

Yes, I think you are the lady who I chatted with for a little bit and we wished each other safe travels home before we left. I didn't raise my hand when he asked for a show of hands because I was never baptized (grew up in it from ages 9 through 19). Perhaps a lot of others who didn't raise their hands were also people who grew up in it but were never baptized. I don't consider myself an ex-jw for that reason.

WTS action on Conti's case 3/27/2013
by mind blown inas most suspected, the wts filed their brief, at least it looks that way..... http://appellatecases.courtinfo.ca.gov/search/case/dockets.cfm?dist=1&doc_id=2025979&doc_no=a136641.
it also notes aob in excess of word count limit.. wonder if they did that to buy more time?.

So I am correct that the next step up the ladder for another appeal is the California Supreme Court and then the next step up after that is U.S. Supreme Court, and then that's it? Only 2 more appeals courts after this one?

I was there. The theater was about two thirds full, I'd say. I sat in front of Rick Fearon and got to talk to him a little bit.

I just got home from the movie. It was excellent. Not sensationalistic at all. It was 90 minutes long and there was a Q & A after the movie with the producer, Gregorio Smith. Some of the people who were featured in the movie were also in the audience. The movie featured 7 different people who grew up in the religion and told different aspects of their lives growing up and how they were affected by the religion. I was able to identify with 99% of what they were saying (I grew up around it from ages 9 through 19). The movie also had a good bit of humor in it, which I really liked. I don't want to give too much away in case people want to see it on their own but if you have any specific questions, please ask. Also, I was sitting in front of Rick Fearon and had a chance to talk to him a little bit.
