Hi Talesin,
Used to be a bit of a doormat, house always open to other's, always fed people, helped out with money, and tried to keep the peace, thats is until I got crook last year, it took months of doc with no answers,than I went to a natropath, she was an old lady -very intuitive and she told me first about my thyroid having a virus, it took over 6 months of test for a doc to find it, anyway she also velieved in metaphysics and said I had gotten so ill with it because I never had a voice, and it was true, I had kept alot in, alot really that should of been able to be expressed but was not for fear of upsetting my mother, and her very conditional ways, ultimitely being shunned.
So now actually the last 6 odd months I say way more than I used to, and I will speak up now in any situation in RL, because I know how much damage bottling it all up can do. I could hardly speak at one point or walk, when she explained to me it was all through fear of the future, as in looking after myself, and of not having a say in things and I made a concious effort to rectify things, well my body started to heal, I know its not for some and they rubbish it, but I truly believe its all intrinsicly(sp) linked and when I applied those directions she gave me, and also got on a juiceing regime things have really come together, I am thankful now when I get on the beach and run, or kayak, bike, or even play my guitar and am able to sing again- very thankful.
My lesson out of all this, as long as it's not hurting other, we must be true to ourselve's living a lie make's you sick.

Forget take offence thats one thing some here do readily,some here are trying to show an issue that keeps recurring, others just want to dig/prod and remain blind to their own motive's which is to shit stir, sorry thats how I see it, anyway when you say-' do you include your friend ammo in all this,' the only reason I had my say on this thread is because it happens so often, there is scorn, you of course will take the opposite view, because there seems to be a certain delight atheists have in ridiculing people that still have some faith, I can't stand bullie's, its transperant when on screen or in my face in day to day life, Don't play dumb. Most of the time I stay away from this shit, because it will get us no where, unless both sides are willing to work through it reasonably. One word REASONABLE... is it that hard.
say what you want weasel and grind away all you that just love to tear down and create an air so thick with disrespect/loathing and denial only those used to breathing that in can stand to reside in it.

St, You can't polish a turd mate, if you think something is stupid that someone believes, than there is something about that person to you that is stupid. Anyway its more the loons, nutter, must be needing meds comments that are offensive, also ST I do not want to get into a tit for tat defending this with you,please, its been along 48 hours and my body is aching, and I don't want to say something thats taken the wrong way, it can happen when we are tired. Personally I don't want shit/beefs with anyone here everyone has something to contribute, and everyone has something to learn. Wow, being working hard out for the last 2 days, so here goes
ST Why does it not surprise me that you would be one of the first in with the boot on what I said, you are so combative alot of the time, Lets take out the word children as it seems to have offended you, and let me PLEASE put in - any living,feeling,breathing,thinking thing on this EARTH when we are trying to teach it something, if we have any TRUE regard for them and what we are teaching than do it with patience and kindness, it's that simple, I used the word-children foolishly by the looks of it, but what I meant is- I can't believe I even have to explain, I will try and not be a hypocrite and have some patience explaining......I used the word children because thats when we are generally at our most patient, I teach teenagers to cook for 1 day a week its my 3rd job, I love it, we have a real General there that like's barking out orders and putdowns, and the rest of us try and mix it up with the kids and have fun and speak to them respectfully, guess who's class has full attendance and pass marks. Its a no brainer to me be REASONABLE thats the point I was trying to make and I'm sorry if you don"t think you are scornful in your replies and all the eye rolls and -It must be a full moon and the loonies are out , blah blah blah no it's not all you, in fact I was not addressing just you at all, but it sure is a fair few atheists on the board how can you take offence because someone presume's you lot think belivers are stupid. Far out man at least OWN that, most of you do ridicule, I cannot believe the level of deception some atheists play with themselves. Go back and read some threads please. I have not got the patience of Tec, or the way with words like Aguest, or Sab reasoning skills, I am a work in progress, at least I can admit that, and I am not sure on what role God will play in my life anymore, but seeing howAtheists tear people down as a bunch with glee, well thats brings out my lack of fair play mode big time. No atheist anywhere can 100 % say there is no higher being. Not for sure. So this is my straight up view, as warm and snuggly never seems to appeal to a certain group here, as I SAID I am a work in progress,I will make many mistakes, but as of 6 months ago I want to own every minute of it,I will not hide away through fear of getting trounced, how sad some on this board say " I'm scared/hesitant to post," how sad some on this board DON"T GET IT, that all here should feel free and empowerd enough to share ther views, the reason this type of thread keeps appearing is because its TRUE, and its frustrating, and for those that say whaa whaa harden up, I speak matter of factly about things it's not to garner sympathy, its the way I speak/write thats it,Its me in RL, I see this stuff all over the world in our classrooms, on buses, our politics, workplaces,everywhere, people putting there hand up saying, it was'nt me, I did'nt do it! when all along there is bullying and people turn a blind eye cos its just too uncomfortable to deal with it, or they may not be liked by the cliques that hold power.
And for those that want top say grow up, there are many forms of grown ups, having a reasonable manner is part of being a grown up. Maybe we should ALL grw up.
Y'know one thing in regard to God I do is true, man will f... all this up, we just can't seem to get on a respectful keel as humans, the rich won't help the poor, and I mean born poor like africa, russia etc, people do have less and less natural affection for each other, we are quick to condemn and take offence, myself included,we are suspicious of things that don't immediatly resonate with in us,but the saddest thing for me is we never learn as a world that all we are doing is playing right into what the scripture's say about the time of the end, as much as I find the bible full of contradictions, it is also a book that show another way in the nt, and the biggest message is about love, law of attraction is about love, every good thing is from love, yet we can't seem to consistantly practice it, and I TOTALLY include myself in all of this.
If anyone has been offended reading this well sorry its not my intention.
