  jayne halliburton turned 18 one month ago, just prior to her most recent hospitalization.

  she has been in and out of shady grove hospital for most of her adolescence because of a uterus problem that causes considerable bleeding.

  jayne is a member of the christian science faith.

  I used to take care of a Christian Scientist woman in a nursing home. In spite of her frailty and health problems she would not accept any treatment other than tylenol. It was sad to see her die like that.

  Instructions for appointing elders?

  i know what the current "shepherd the flock" book, published in 2010, says about the process of appointing elders.

  my question is, what was the written instructions before that?

  i skimmed through the old "pay attention to the flock" book and didn't see an official process.

  This is part of my ongoing research. Anyone have any official WT teaching or documentation on this from before 2010?

  if the watchtower society was the leadership of a state or country, and jehovah's witnesses were the citizens of said state or country.

  which do you think current or imaginary regime or country would that be likened too?.

  They'd call it a Theocracy, but it would be more like Sharia law. People WOULD get stoned for adultery and apostasy, Women WOULD be placed in the background, and hands WOULD be cut off for stealing. I can also see them going for honor killings....
