Elder ignores me at Walgreens here in Milwaukee.

a month ago i went to walgreens to get some snacks and a newspaper.

i was walking out when i noticed an elder that i grew up with walking towards me.

he kinda looked in my direction, the turned his head away and kept walking with his nose in the air.

Talk to people around you.

" This man used to be my minister in church. Now he won't even look at me. Can you believe that? Weird huh? Oh, and he is one of Jehovahs' Witnesses."

I have two questions

1 - What would Jehovahs Witnesses say about Catholic, Baptist or Budhist literature carts it THEY were asked, by a reporter, on the street?

2 - If the Society has repeatedly preached that the world of mankind will rise up in anger against Jehovahs people, why is the Society showing warm and toasty approval, by the public, of their literature carts? Reasonably, would not they want to show people upset and angry, to verify what they have been preaching?

What is this latest letter from the GB about?

we have been told this week that all in the elder and ms body will be read a letter from the gb about "make this the greatest month of activity ever"..... has anyone else had such a letter read out in their cong / servant body?.

i presume it will be all about "recommending strongly/insisting" that all these men should pioneer for the month?.

we have been told this week that all in the elder and ms body will be read a letter from the gb about "make this the greatest month of activity ever"..... has anyone else had such a letter read out in their cong / servant body?.

i presume it will be all about "recommending strongly/insisting" that all these men should pioneer for the month?.

For years it was thought that the Titanic broke at the stern when it reached about 45 degrees. This would put the height of the stern well about the smoke stacks, if only for a short time.

HOWEVER,

some experts think that the stern actually broke at about the 11 degree angle, which would put the height achieved by the up raised stern LOWER than the normal height of the smoke stacks. If this is true then Billy Ex will have to revise his statement.

He may then wish to say something such as the following:

" So they reach some new highs in their imagination next month, so what?"
