as her marriage crumbles, a judge must decide a case involving a teenage boy who is refusing a blood transfusion on religious principle.. i saw the trailer for this a long time ago and its subject matter immediately got me interested.
it has just been added the netflix catalogue here in australia and i am looking forward to finally watching it.. please, if you've seen it, no spoilers!.

@Doctor Who I remember similar experiences. The other ones are where there needs to be a show of hands from the elders about paying some money to a CO or a DO or head office and it was always unanimous. To the point where I always thought "why even bother asking?"

Movie Review 1917
by Terry inmovie review"1917".
i so seldom seek to sit inside an actual movie theater anymore.however ...some films are absolutely tailored for it.life of pigravityavatar3 examples of movies which do not translate to your home viewing...at all.good, bad, or indifferent - some films are visual and immersive.. here is a sacred pronouncement:movies are a visual medium.in the hands of an orson welles (i.e.
citizen kane) they are a radio play+visual storytelling medium._____.

We saw this in a theater and I would agree that it would have the most impact on a big screen.

Here's a couple of pages from the notes I took during a meeting that the CO had with elders during one of his visits. This section was on what to do if a young unbaptised publisher got involved in wrongdoing.
LOL "wrongdoing"
The second page is one of those classic cheesy CO illustrations....

Winston,
The answer to your questions is mentioned in the text on jw.org (not picked up in the original post):
Some months later, Danielle’s father was again in contact with the man, who related what happened to him a short time before when he found a lost purse.Ahaa, that makes more sense! Was his name Andre?

Two things:
1: If the bag was left in a coffee shop, most people wouldn't rifle through the bag, they would leave it with the coffee shop owners.
2: How do they know this bit happened?
Some months later,
. . . he discovered a purse lying on the ground. When he found the woman who owned the purse and returned it to her, he explained what moved him to do so. He had recently been the recipient of a similar act of honesty. He said: “One small act of honesty and kindness leads to another, making life better for everyone in the community.”Did the guy contact the borg and tell them? Did the borg track him down and ask him what changes he had made in his life since this life altering contact with JWs?
