Any suggestions for "talking points"???
There are SSSSSSSSOOOOOOO many options, it is hard to know where to start. And with the nature of "call in" show, much of the available time will be lost, so I have to be efficient with my words.
I have some ideas, but I want to get suggestions from the group here, so if you think you've got a great "GOTCHA, Watchtower", please suggest it here.

I hope someone with access to those pics can do an analysis and estimate "distance versus time" -- in othe words, "velocity" of the stone, and then extrapolate it out and predict "exact moment of impact".
Then we can add it to the long list of nonsense predictions. (Of course, when Armageddon doesn't happen, they could say the the stone is decelerating. "Jahoobe is puttins on the brakes, scrubbing of some excess speed. The new date of impact, assuming a linear deceleration, is...."

by stillAwitness indo any of you parents and/or sons and daughters feel weird about sleeping in the same bed as your parent and/or son or daughter?
is there a certain age that this behavior becomes inappropriate?

Tough call on this, IMO.
Since they are travelling, they should be prepared to make sacrifices. A king size bed can comfortably sleep three adults (trust me on this! they could even do more than sleep...)
OTOH, my personal Canadian heritage says that any child older than "tween" should be in his/her own bed, in most cases.
Then again, Michael Jackson had young kids in his bed all the time, and no one thought that was weird.... oh, wait a minute.... never mind!

i went back to my flat earlier this afternoon to pick some things up, i am moving out of there slowly, and was carrying a heavy box out to my car when i stumbled and dropped it on my foot.
it wasn't too painful, thankfully, but i came out with a stream of expletives, most of them beginning with f. when i was a jw, even thinking those words would have filled me with shame.

Yes, I am more verbose and loquacious than I once was, and enjoy an increased vocabulary. In other words, I have more subjects to talk about, have more things to say, and have more words to say them with.
This is likely due to the vastly superior quality of reading material I now enjoy. Watchtower and Awake! will keep people at a 9th grade lever. Unless you read the Golden Age from the 1930s, then you will regress to the level of village idiot. (Sorry, no offense intended toward idiots).

For the record, I agree with RichieRich: Dr. Phil bugs me.
It would be nice to get some exposure, but I think the warnings posted by LadyLee and others are very sound.
Also, I suspect that Dr. Phil's lawyers won't let him call any group "cult" that appears to have deep pockets to pay lawyers for defamation. I'll bet he stays with the tiny ones, or the ones that don't have TV and churn their own butter.
Having said that, I would pay money to see RichieRich on the show. Better yet, I would like to see RR on that other show (can't remember the name) that always ends with a fight or exposed breasts. That would be cool!

You are not chicken! You have to deal with things in your own time, and it sounds like this is too soon (both for talking to your parents and to the elders).
Put them off, push it back -- but don't say why.
Maybe try something like:
"I'm just at a time when I need to be alone to meditate on my situation. No, I don't feel like talking about it just yet."
When you are ready to talk, or act, or "fade", or whatever, you will know. Don't let other people control your life and push you into a situation you don't want.
