i realized i didn't have any of myself so i got my mother to email me a few.

i promised i'd start a thread about it and if that person doesn't post the pic they sent me this morning, i will.

A new game I invented (a bit childish I know)

lol, ok here's a new game i invented, please have a go, it will have you in stiches.. here's what you do.

find a jw article (do a search on any given subject at www.watchtower.org is a good idea), copy and paste the entire contents into your word processor.

then do a "search and replace" and replace every use of one particular word from the article with another phrase of your choice.

When a person is baptized, their whole body should be put under the water momentarily. * ?Mark 1:9, 10; Acts 8:36. 3. After you have made a dedication, the Borg will expect you to live up to your promise. (Psalm 50:14; Ecclesiastes 5:4, 5) Knowledgeable people will try to stop you from serving them. (1 Peter 5:8) But draw close to the Governing body of Jehovah?s Witnesses in prayer. (Philippians 4:6, 7) Study their Word each day. (Psalm 1:1-3) Stick close to the congregation. (Hebrews 13:17) By doing all of this, you will gain the strength to stay faithful to Governing body of Jehovah?s Witnesses. For all eternity you thus can do the things that the Governing body of Jehovah?s Witnesses requires of you!

last summer i got shafted by a teenager on ebay.

willingly, to a point.

i bought two seventh row concert tickets to rascal flatts for my daughter and i. i paid $125 for them and discovered when they arrived that the face value for each ticket was $10.

How the Audiocassette made JT into a Society Man!!!

o yes-- the reading of the mags- well when i was at bethel there was a reading test given to all ms who wanted to sign up for the opportunity to be a audiocassette reader/ dramas

IF YOU COULD SEE the elders flock book and you look up in the back of the index the word "LOVE" YOU WILL NOT FIND IT THERE Just think the most important book elder carries and it does not have one subject line on LOVE Then I bought me a computer and went up on the Net I felt that if I have the truth it will stand the test Well after trying to defend the Boys in the Writing Dept I realized how little I knew about wt history. So I stop going into chartrooms and forum

My wife finds fulfillment with the Dubbies

i can't.. she is currently 'helping' someone in what i suspect is the same situation that the last (and only) person she has helped into the troof.. we love each other very much and i just have to learn how to keep my mouth shut.

i was brought up by fanatical jw parents and dropped out at 15, had a fling with it before armageddon (1975), just in case, but during that time we married and she took to the jws like a duck to water.

i dropped out.

Black Sheep

My wife is still very much still involved with Jw's after I stopped going to the meetings 18 or more months ago. At first 2- 3 years ago when I started to see that it was not the "truth" I tried to help her see also! We went through some though times, marriage wise and I even wondered if I should leave her. Fortunately she can see that doctrines are not all black and white and even agrees on some topics (Shunning for instance, that is wrong).

Anyway to cut a long story short, she's an Adult and can make her own mind up what she wants to do with her life. She accepts that I will not ever go back and I have to accept that she wants to remain a Dubb for family and even enjoyment reasons. It's a good job we don't have kid's!

Now and again I remind her not to start any "Bible" studies and draw anyone else in to it. I would hate to think she could be teaching the "Dangling Carrot Doctrine" to anyone. Yes it as it's good point, reminding of morals etc, it's the subtle brainwashing that is wrong!

I hate to say this but, I guess there is not much you can do if she wants to teach the young kid how to walk in the WT doctrine.
