My close friend was going to be an egg donor until her friend showed her an article that this was considered fornication if the sperm and egg providers were not married. So donating (selling) an egg and receiving one were both dfing offences. I'm 100% sure she did it anyway, and I was kinda judgemental (not that I would have ever turned her in) and feel terrible thinking about how judgemental I used to be as a witness. I was always the guy that people could tell anything and I would never force them to go to elders until one of them turned on me and betrayed my trust to the elders. That was as I began my fade anyway, so I ignored the elders calls and it was his word against my silence. WOW, I'm going way off topic, all apologies.

What would you do?
by screwproof ini have been going to another church now for quite a while, the elders do know this and confirmed this when they visited me over something else.
however i have no idea if i have been disfellowshipped or not, should i call them and find out, or just let it go?
i cant really say that it doesn't bother me, because i would like to know.

You are supposed to be informed of a judicial committee.if you do not go,and they feel they have evidence, they can df you anyway, but most would try several times to get you to come. They also must notify you of the decision.
Not saying they all follow the rules, but I'd like to believe most do.

MTS & Gilead: Can we talk about how much of a FAILURE these 2 schools were/are?
by Black Man ini know quite a few from both of these schools who basically crashed and burned once they got into their assignments.
graduates of these schools would be thrown into foreign territorities or remote areas without a good visible means of support and would get emotionally, mentally, financially burned out.
post your experiences or of those you know that went to these pitiful excuses for educational institutions..

The majority of the ones invited/attended MTS that I know of did not last long in their assignments or did not get one at all. I know of several that got married waiting for an assignment and never got one as well.
I only knew one couple before they went to MTS, they just sortta dissapeared, left Gilead somewhere between getting their assignment and actually going.

Update: started recording, ran out of room on my phone after about 20 or 30 minutes. Deleted that one and started over or the new light stuff. The first half was just a dog and pony show showing off their new sparlock animation department, those dumb tables they set up at grand central, among other things. Then they spent an hour explaining how the faithful and discreet slave is no longer all anointed people but just the GB as a unit. Nothing too interesting, just more fodder to chew on for these people waiting for the end of the world.
