I have to say that after leaving the WT I firmly believe everything the Government says, specially if it is the Government of the USA, which is the country where this cult and other similar ones built their comfortable nests.

Do you ever feel strangely drawn towards Conspiracy Theories?
by JW_Rogue inafter mentally awakening to the idea that jws don't have the truth i strangely found myself delving into all encompassing conspiracy theories.
not that i believed them but something about them seemed quite fascinating.
i was especially drawn to the idea of a new world order/one world government.

They isolate, bully and manipulate people to conformity, penalizing any sign of independent thinking or rather a welll adjusted adult personality.
They do not need sophisticated technology to spy on the lives of others; they've managed to create a climate supported by a net of dedicated pioneers sticking their nose and gossipping about otherĀ“s personal affairs.
In my opinion this corporation and others like it, are a big experiment about creating a naive, credulous and infantile society to serve the long term purposes of very grandiose people with a lot of money and mental issues.
That also seems to be the case of the people behind the Government of the US, that has always protected if not promoted these types of cults as other forms of mass manipulation.
Their publications are full of subliminal imagery by the way, like most of the media.

10 Reasons you should never have a religion
by Batman89 ina great article i stumbled across this morning http://www.stevepavlina.com/blog/2008/05/10-reasons-you-should-never-have-a-religion/.
while consciously pursuing your spiritual development is commendable, joining an established religion such as christianity, islam, or hinduism is one of the worst ways to go about it.
in this article ill share 10 reasons why you must eventually abandon the baggage of organized religion if you wish to pursue conscious living in earnest.. since christianity is currently the worlds most popular religion, ill slant this article towards christianitys ubiquitous failings.

All societies have their own traditions and rituals, even secular ones.
There is a difference between a religion that educates, dignifies and empowers individuals, families and communities and a philosophy that manipulates, enslaves and degrades human beings sometimes in the name of freedom.
Our culture is the result of how we understand history, and religion plays a big role in both our history and our self-awareness, (or lack of).
Sociopaths take advantage of other people's poverty, economic but also intellectual or cultural, that is why they tend to promote it and that is why it is easy to recognize them.

First of all there is no anti-semitism, it is called RACISM and it means discriminating those from a different race, something jews have been doing since the Old Testament.
When they were expelled from Spain in 1492 they couldn't play that card, as they were expelled before the muslims who were plotting another invasion, and the gypsies that stayed until today and became part of the culture of the country.
Remarkably all the Reformation wars, the witch-hunts etc started in Europe soon after they were expelled from Spain that not only managed to avoid all that but that was actually living a cultural Golden Age.
In Russia they were not very liked before the rise of communism, but the reason doesn't seem to be racism either as armenians for example didn't seem to have that problem.
Interestingly jews have some unconditionals that will support them no matter what they do and that should be called pro-semitics; they are the people that will angrily complaint about the invasion of poor mexican children when it is about THEIR country, but that see no problem in millions of armed jews, or for that matter americans, invading or sabotaging someone else's country.
The current political and economic system is just a factory of slaves but whatever it is jews control they are certainly not doing it alone, they are being helped by the Rahabs of every nation.
In order to understand history first you need to know the facts, something most people have no clue, as history has been written by the ones that are even hiding them in real time. http://www.ifamericansknew.org/history/

Christians didn't start prosecuting jews, it was the other way around.

When europeans didn't like jews for various reasons, muslim countries welcomed them and they enjoyed their hospitality for centuries. Maybe the jews are anti-everyone else.

Who Really Profits from the WTBTS?
by Freedom77 inlike they say in the movies, "follow the money.
" the thought occurred to me the other day - the wt scam rakes in billions of dollars, and yeah some of that goes to operations and equipment.
but bethelites at farm and factory get only a bare little dorm room and a monthly pittance.

Money, power, political influence on a global scale...what is clear is that this organization would not have lasted without the complicity and silence of the US government.
"To know who rules over you find out who you are not allowed to criticize." I would add, because you don't even know they exist.

The book of Daniel is a manual for world domination in 8 steps (worldpowers).
After two centuries bathed in blood, America managed to become THE worldpower and it is going to be very difficult to change that, as it owns the technology the rest of the world uses to run their own countries.
The question is: appart from big corporations, wars, political interference in other countries, crazy sects, patriot act, training Osama bin Laden, financing terrorists in Syria, etc. what does America stand for?
Whatever the answer, the rest of the world is also stuck with it, as a multipolar world in the most globalized and technological era of humanity is a fallacy.

Bible's mention of physical beauty- why?
by Magnum infor years, as i've read through the bible, i've wondered why bible writers were concerned about physical beauty (see references below)?
i realize it's human nature to be interested in beauty, but why did they see fit to record in the so-called "word of god" the fact that some of the people they wrote about were beautiful?
looks are not supposed to matter according to jw doctrine (and probably the doctrine of many christian-professing sects).

It is a sign of the importance jews place on outer appearances. Nothing wrong with that as long as it is not the only focus.
In contrast the New Testament puts more emphasis on inner beauty and qualities, for example mentioning that Nathanael was an israelite in whom there was not deceit, like if that was something remarkable...
It also mentions that Paul's presence was weak, which I think it is a very important peace of information in order to understand many of the things he wrote.
In contrast nothing is said about Jesus appearance, but he was a carpenter with a very controversial message that offended people that hid behind their position, so he must have had a very strong presence.

It's not about theology - It's about character
by LennyinBluemont ini have come to understand that people who are jehovahs witnesses are for the most part, good and honest people.
just like people in other religions or for that matter, people who dont practice any religion.
and, like those other people, they also have their minority of people who are selfish, deceptive and not very nice.

It is rather about connections, who is connected to whom and why?
