Jerusalem is in judea.
It's like a state capital
in the book of luke chapter 21 it's writings are very similar to that of matthew where jesus is talking about the end and "this generation" .
he mentions jerusalem being surrounded and to flee.
in modern times bible believers believe this generation is about thier generation and jerusalem is refuring to spiritual jerusalem and they point to scriptures in the book of revelations to make the point.
Jerusalem is in judea.

another nauseating text which proves conclusively that jw's do not practise what they preach!.
monday, may 9. who are you to be judging your neighbor?—jas.
4:12.. humility restrains us from overstepping our authority.
Excellent post divergent
The whole issue of judgmental individuals in the borg stinks.
Who determines who will be shunned by families? The whole concept of forning judicial comittees goes against james 4:12 among numerous other things.
The kingdom song should be named "listen obey and be judged"
(Btw what does the abbreviation "COBE" stand for?)
worldwide work fund.
yep they read a letter today after the sunday morning meeting.
they were also highly encouraging people to volunteer to go to the fort to clean up brothers houses.
How wonderful of a "charity" to collect funds to help their own members only. That's a true charity!
i'm a postman with the royal mail and was assigned to train a new starter yesterday.
my line manager introduces me to 'dave', within seconds my jw radar was on maximum!
in his mid to late 30's, politely spoken and with that haircut - i just knew it.. the post he'd applied for was saturdays only, he said he did a lot of volunteer work.
Wouldn't it be hilarious if Dave is reading on this site recognizing himself in your posting?
You never know.. lol
Let's put the joke aside.. it's really beautiful how you care about Dave. You never know.. maybe it was meant to be that you were assigned to work with him
i've been confronting my mother with her dubious parenting skills (abuse) of me as a child.
particularly the beatings i would get with the wooden spoon.
not a light smack but hitting me as hard as she could for as long as she could.
My mom used to beat me. Slapping my face very hard that my ear felt deaf for a couple of hours. When she was angry at me she chased me through the flat and id throw myself on my bed curling myself up and she beat me with fists allover.. even on the head.
When I was a teen I got a glass shelf and I remember asking my mother to be careful not to break it during a rage episode directed at me...

disgusting!.
urghhh... what a disgusting study!7 a conflict of loyalties may arise when a close relative is disfellowshipped.
for example, a sister named anne received a telephone call from her disfellowshipped mother.
the mother wanted to visit anne because she felt pained by her isolation from the family.
12 Daniel, a brother in Mexico, needed to choose between being loyal to God and seeking his own selfish interests. He wanted to marry a girl who was not a believer. Says Daniel: “I continued writing to her even after I entered the pioneer service.
Didn't he know that sooner or later he would have to come to a decision about her? To me this sounds like he was leading her on in a way. Messing with her heart and feelings.
Soon my joy in the ministry increased.” Daniel later married a fine Christian sister and now serves as a circuit overseer.
Bravo David. We are glad that your joy in the ministry increased after leaving the poor woman behind with a broken heart. But anyways.. her feelings don't matter as shes a worldly person only. A subhuman that will be killed in armageddon anyways. I hope she got over the heartbreak and found a good man to never leave or hurt her. I'm foaming at David's behaviour and the way he's being applauded for playing with someone's feelings
this is a legitimate question.
did any of us ever find real joy in being at the meetings?
did any of us ever finish a meeting and think "i feel so enriched"?
hey guys.
i've decided that during this time of being dfed, maybe trying to get reinstated, i'm going to enjoy my time with myself.
that being said, i would like to do some traveling when the weather warms up across the us.
Sardinia is an amazing place. They call it the caribbean of europe. It is absolutely safe and beautiful.
If you are into history Jordan would be an amazing place. Ive travelled there on my own and it is safe and a very friendly warm country
thought it would be good to share what ones take to deal with the meetings.
