i would love to stay away from them all together, but i told my mother i would take her to one meeting when we are in europe in december.

I would love to stay away from them all together, but I told my mother I would take her to one meeting when we are in Europe in December. If anyone has the address and meeting times for Tuesdays and Sundays that would be great. We will be staying not too far from Kings Cross Station, so whatever one is closer by tube leaving kings cross station.

i was at a amusement park here in calgary today.
my jw mother and my young brother came to visit for a week,so me and my sister thought it would a nice idea to take them to do something fun.
i guess they had a part of it called hallo street and my mom was getting all sketched out from all the halloween decorations around.
I totally forgot about this. This was also yesterday, but after we left the place. We were in the car and I was talking about the pedophile elders. I said why would the holy spirit pick people who are pedos. Her response was pretty much saying they people just wake up one day and decide they are attracted to children. I told her that people are born that way. She denied this being the case, but I think she was just trying to make an explanation to herself of why the holy spirit would pick someone who goes on to molest children. She also tried to say Gay people aren't born that way either. So much rampant ignorance in the JW's.

I was at a amusement park here in Calgary today. My JW mother and my young brother came to visit for a week,so me and my sister thought it would a nice idea to take them to do something fun. I guess they had a part of it called Hallo street and my mom was getting all sketched out from all the halloween decorations around. We wanted to take my brother into the haunted house and she kept saying "It's demonic!". We did eventually take him in but then when we came out she was way ahead, so she wouldn't have to be in that "evil demonic area". It was just a cheesy haunted house although it did scare my brother a bit. I didn't know Jehoober would care or concern himself with kids going into a haunted house.

i can't personally say that i do believe or the even the bible for that matter, but i can't see how someone could believe this.
you don't live the way you are supposed to live and believe in jesus, etc for like 70-80 years, but you have to suffer forever and ever for stuff you did during one short lifetime.i was doing some looking on google and one guy made a bunch of good points against the idea of hell and one being why would god resurrect the righteous from heaven and especiall hell then just throw them back in?

What is the sense in being patient, when waiting just means that more people are going to be murdered. If he didn't want anyone to perish, than he should've done it when there were less people and more believers.

Jehovah's Witnesses and many other religions believe jesus will return or has returned (invisibly ). If Jehovah was actually planning an armageddon, then why is he waiting so long? I think, that it's an obvious fact that the world's population is constantly increasing. Why would you wait so long, which means just having to kill more unbelievers? It's been over 2000 years now. What is he waiting for? I should also mention that I don't believe in any of this though. I wish I could reason with my mother with this thought.
