If you look at countries were a ban is on, Muslim countries, -(growing at a rate of 32%)
you are looking at 35% of earths population ( estimate )that has not "heard" of Jw's. This is not a world wide preaching work- impossible! So they upbuild the congregations by calling it a name that is a MISNOMER.
According to PEW Research 2017 - earth population was 7.7 billion - deducting Russia, China, NK, Phillipines, just some of banned areas we see 3.1 billion where bans are occurring, ( there are more) leaving a total that receive the" good news" of 2.8 billion. For the WTBTS to say the good news is a worldwide work and needs money to continue is incorrect. For there to be ONLY 281,744 baptized in 2017 (and mostly born in at a tender age) with 8.5 million ?? doing the work, does not make sense.

When I was baptized, the 2nd question was asked was belief in the father, the son and the holy spirit. Now, it is the father, the son and Gods directed spirit ORGANIZATION-- this is NOT what scripture is all about. So does that make my baptism wrong? Can I get a scriptural divorce? Does it make the new question invalid? I would definitely say "Yes"-- the society sucks new ones into a system of massive fraud. The Amway business model, bring in the new ones to sell the product and build a money train.

No letter read yet.. And this is the 17th. However, some news in Canada that halls are being sold and congregations being combined/cut starting from the west to the east... Seeing that Montreal has swallowed up 16 congregations, haven't heard how many were out west, but if anyone has numbers for BC, Sask, Manitoba, Alberta please make a note so a track can be kept.

That is called "straining the gnat" I believe..... so many congregations have different ideas.. one sister I was speaking about said the society said people worship the Christmas tree. Previously I was in the world and did not worship the "tree".. It was pretty, that was it. and she argued that is the stand the society took, I told her it was wrong - no worship of the tree was in my house. She was adamant, but so was I - quiet times.

Neb attacked the first time 18-20 years previously to the "downfall of Jerusalem" the second time he attacked in C607 BCE. Then there was a third attack so which date do they really quote - 607!
Check out Jeremiah 52:26-30 during the time of Neb's rule in his 7th, 18th and 23rd years of his reign- total reported by Jeremiah taken to Babylon 4,600 -- so which date do we take as truth? If 607 is not it, and the first date is, 1914 is off by about 20 years. SInce the org needed that date to get to 1914 that is the final word for them.. albeit wrong.
607 is supposed to have been a pivotal year that all archeologists confirmed? As 70 CE was for 2nd fall of Jerusalem by the Romans.
And yes! The org is complicit in cover up -as the elder who gave a talk last month said - all false religion have abusers in them.... I about fell off the chair- how narrow his view is.....Now there is a month of child abuse study articles coming up

Moving to Minnesota
by HappyDad inyou probably think i need mental counseling but i am moving from southwest florida to minnesota.
i was just there last week in the -29 degree weather to close on a house i bought in oakdale, minnesota.
being a florida resident for 5 years has taught me that it is no longer the paradise that people think it is.

Well being from Canada, we do have the four seasons,( and that is getting sketchy) loved to visit Fla but give me the seasons, unfortunately I feel even our climate is changing drastically.. 54 below is unnatural due to that artic air coming down from the pole, last week with wind chill, we were at - 26 - its all changing and for those who do not believe in climate change ??????
At the same time, the forest fires, the massive hurricanes, ice shield melt - it won't be long before we are all adversely affected- from migration to various states/provinces, to inability to grow crops- our crops were late to the field due to wet spring that did not dry out til first of June - it's already happening to the lower 48 - not to mention the refugees who are on the move due to disgusting government practises in many lands..
I believe we are like ostriches, keep our head buried in the sand - but the assend is exposed ..might save the head but the end is gone

For years Russia has been the problematic KOTN... Morris harkens back to 1914 and how astonished the world was when something happened, then he picks a quote out of 1975!!! THE YEAR all things were to end, when people sold homes, businesses, furniture, etc. My mate quite a government job in 1974 to go full time pioneering and leave his pension behind.... and they say they did not indicate 1975 ws IT??? Yes they did and it was right from the convention platform. They say we mis understood - really? Ruin lives and no apology - so what makes this announcement any more important when the scriptures say - no man knows the date or hour, not even the Son.,, along with don't be afraid.. afraid !
Three weeks ago an elder in his talk said all false religion had pedos in them- I think we really should be afraid...

I'm not alone in the congregation, after all
by ohnightdivine ini can now say that i'm not alone to know ttatt in my congregation, after all.. i have come to know that my close friend is awake, even without me sharing the ttatt with him/her.
on one of our recent conversations i mentioned about being tired and no longer being uplifted anymore, and my friend then told me he/she was feeling the same.
i don't know how it happened but we knew we could trust each other.

Right now, I can truthfully say I have come to know 3 males and three women and myself that have come to realize TTATT.
All of us still attend but the "joy" is gone and time will be the long run for us all.
The cong removes chairs now to fill up the rows and make it look as though the hall is full?? we have eyes and can see it is not ---, so its just not us. By the way, we belong to four different cong so I dont really know how others are faring.
