I am questioning everything they ever put on paper now. From Rutherford on down, all that was written was all Spirit directed!

Magazines, bible changes, generation teaching, great crowd, elders, do's, new light (from where?) halls, assemblies, giving money for wwwork, volunteers giving up their income to work at Bethels, taking oath to not receive monies for their hard work - that was only for government so they would not come back on society for unemployment insurance... and on and on

Now what? Everyone is being so misled

Blondie; you mentioned some of the GB indicated even what may be said from the platform may not be "official" - wow! Then how do we know what was real in the first place...if elders/ms are inserting things not on the talk, where does that leave the congregation?

I knew there were the three baptisms previously, John, Jesus, holy spirit....we know these were from Jah/Jesus... but this organization has flipped so much and now to remove "spirit directed" is a scary time. In this new instance, they are receiving only water baptism, no Father, Son and holy spirit as biblically directed. I can take a bath and do the Same.

Something I just realized!

now that i'm out if i ever do find someone and settle down and start a family, my parents wont be a part of it.

my dad wont walk me down the isle if i get married, if i have kids they wont know their grandparents.

oh and by the way i had my freaking tubes tied so as not to have kids in this system.

So much sadness, so much hurt - brings so much stress in your life.. its so confusing , you don't know where to turn... but you sound like you are on the right track.. another thought, now that the abortion issue is raising its head and states are not allowing them, there will be more babies to be adopted..and as one mentioned, the children at the border in cages need parental guidance as well..

I have the same question... what happens to those who were "baptised" under the old questioning? What happens to all that "spirt guided" study information and who put elders into their position? This opens up a huge disparity in the belief system of all if they sit up and listen...

A great few hours of entertainment- both teams worked hard and matched each others play til the end... a nail biter for sure..

The best part was the teams interacted and hugged each other at the finish..... Now what is Kwai going to do at the trade??

that is how much coffee me and another elder went through as we camped out all night until 7 a.m. outside the home where suspected jw fornicators we're staying.

little did i know what a powerful contrast that would prove to be when as an elder i was faced with another case involving the allegation of severe child sexual abuse.

we disfellowshipped the couple based completely on circumstantial evidence of sexual wrongdoing because they simply "stayed the entire night".

I remember the days when they skulked around the yard looking in windows to catch someone they suspected of immoral acts. I could not believe it... and it was told to me thats the only way they could prove wrongdoing.

After all, they had to keep the organization clean.
