It just cries out for an e-mail shot to each of those addresses advising them of the desirability of checking out JWN, jwfacts etc etc.
my thoughts exactly!
2013 district convention headquarters, addresses-united states and canada..this list is 10 pages long containing the addresses and above some of the locations you will see dates, such as, (june 15-18) or something like that.
i think those dates indicate when the convention will be held at that location.
help me out if i am wrong on that.

as an elder, i saw many people that were affected by booze, drugs and mental health issues.
a lot of witnesses fought depression and turned to other things when they realized they couldn't keep up the pace and find inner happiness with what they did do..
A missionary couple I knew were hard core alcoholics. They could really pound back the booze!
yep, you can face a judicial committee if you try to kill yourself.

A judicial committee can be formed for attempted suicide according to the flock book. The outcome of a jc is either reproof or disfellowship based upon repentance. So I guess if you were unrepentant about trying to kill yourself they could df you.

i just want to know how many people from canada are here.
if you don't mind and don't care about posting your province (cause i'm too timid to) we could all get an idea of just how many canucks are really out there.
My great gramma was born in Wakaw, Saskatchewan
i have seen a number of posts here stating that the wts turns a profit off cas (and das for that matter) as if it is an established fact.
i tried searching for prior threads on this, in case maybe there is evidence i'm not aware of (such as inside sources), but the search function is not too advanced so i didn't find anything.
in any event, about 4 years ago when i used to attend them it seemed that the expenses they would announce for a 2-day ca would be around $10k, and for a 1-day it would be $5k.

The only thing that costs for the assembly hall are utilities and repairs(again with donated money and labor)

countries with prudent agricultural policies will always aim for an excess of food. Some will be thrown out on good years. This is because no one can
predict a crop failure and it is better as a nation to have exess supplies than to risk starvation.
today's study picks on the most vulnerable among us.
the mentally ill. .
the watchtower apparently hasn't learned that depression and mental illness are that a medical condition.
Two things I get from this article.
1. They are admiting that mental illness is a huge problem in the org.
2. They are saying if you have a mental condition it is your fault. The problem is not with us. You are not following our direction therefore you are depressed.
My question to the Watchtower is: if a person has another illness say cancer or arthritis is praying more and preaching more going to cure your disease?
