They are not allowed to mark do not calls on new territories. The elder in our car group said we might get a do not call as we have no idea where they may be.
i just got back from field service.
i haven’t been out in a few months so now we don’t keep any written records and we don’t know which houses are do not calls.
i also noticed i was the only one with a book bag.

besides the media center they are going to build in n.y. it's been noted they are also building one and a studio in australia.
there is no way donations can cover these massive projects.
so the money will have to come from the sale of the remaining halls.

So we drove to the furthest territory from the service group. 3/4 hour drive west of town, did 3 or 4 calls, and 3/4 hour back. We did one sisters not at home return visit so that she could count more time. We get to count 3 hour total.
I think the whole privacy thing (can’t keep written records, and don’t know where the do not calls are) is a lot for the brothers to mentally accept.
we don’t get many invitations to congregational social gatherings.
we don’t attend midweek meetings and miss about 1/3 of sunday meetings.
we go in service at least once a month.
Publishers in their 80s should be given a free pass on the midweek meeting. At least in the winter when it gets dark early. This older couple probably don’t feel safe at night on the road.
The elders don’t give a shit though. It’s all about numbers when the circuit overseer comes not about the well being of the flock.

We’ve never been popular as we both have trouble fitting in socially due to our autism. So it is actually a relief that we are not invited to these events. We generally don’t engage more than we have to socially as usually some one ends up poking fun at either or both of us which really pisses me off.

Family and money is involved. It’s complicated. That’s why we don’t leave the cult.

We have decent social circles outside the borg so it is all good. I think they are afraid people like us will corrupt the faithful. That is why they don’t want our kind(critical thinkers) to associate on a personal level with the indoctrinated.

Just not ready to quit yet for family reasons.
Yesterday in service my better half found out about a gathering we weren’t invited to. One of the sisters in the car group told her we aren’t invited to congregation functions because we don’t go to midweek meetings and don’t go in service enough.
This has been an unwritten rule forever but I am surprised someone finally said it.
